Bullengarook mountain rentals

A rugged bush property, less than 10 minutes from Macedon township. Driving into the property's initially steep gravel drive, in a 2WD car, required some initial speed and staying in low gear, but proved no problem for our family group, in three vehicles, two of which were 2WD. The main house and two "container bedrooms" were all spotlessly clean and very well, appointed. All were well air conditioned if required; as it was on occasion as the weather was quite warm during our stay. IT wise the WiFi and internet worked exceptionally well - especially as the 4G wasn't so great in that location. The bush surrounds suited our family group which allowed for our two pet dogs to run around outside as well as our grandchildren. As a consequence, the TV was hardly put to use, as we just enjoyed the peace and quiet of the bush. The property provided a good base for the two significant family events that brought us to Victoria for the week; especially its quick and easy access to the Calder Freeway. Given a similar family occasion, we'd most definitely be looking to stay here again if available.Thoroughly enjoyable and comfortable stay.

We had a fabulous stay at Rooksedge, our room "the Mitch" was beautiful and had everything we needed including our favourite amenity which was the fireplace. It was impossible to not feel relaxed and at peace. Great escape from the city and also close enough to town to grab any bits and pieces if needed. We also loved that we could take our beautiful doggo with us that enjoyed everything just as much as we did.

Incredible views! Fantastic hosts. Peaceful stay only 9 minutes from all the conveniences of Gisborne. You could learn a lot from the hosts who wear many hats - and run a great bnb experience. Thankful they are willing to share their slice of heaven with others. Relaxation with 5 star comfort, might be the place where dreams are born.
