About this property

Greenacres - Relaxing Escape in the Macedon Ranges

A comfortable space to read, have a cuppa or a gin or two on the deck. Snuggle up by the fireplace in winter, enjoy the quiet of the shade in summer.

Quiet country roads to walk down the middle of. Paddocks with views and a koala or two to be seen if you are lucky. The ideal place to stay to access so much of what the Macedon Ranges has to offer.

The space
A lounge room with two three-seater couches, suitable for sitting or snoozing.

A fully equiped kitchen with microwave, oven, full-sized fridge, stove and twin drawer dishwasher.
The combined lounge and dining area is 6x6m with a dining table that sits six comfortably.
Large picture windows encourage glimpses of the bird life that frequent the main dam. A place to relax and contemplate.

Two bedrooms with queen-sized beds.
A third bedroom with two king singles.
4th bedroom with a king bed and ensuite is accessed via bedroom #3

Webber bbq and plenty of nooks to enjoy the picturesque landscape and gardens.

Guest access
The main house and unused portion of the car port.
Garage and summer house are not available to access.

Other things to note
There are multiple dams on the property that are not fenced off, meaning children will need to be supervised while outside. As this is a farm, there are things that bite, itch and sting so use common sense and dress appropriately for your activities.

Good Telstra coverage. Optus is patchy. Wifi calling seems to do the trick for most.
Our farm is almost self-sufficient so please be aware of water usage to keep the tanks full and be mindful of waste put into the septic system.

Part of being in such a quiet rural area means the farm can be subject to bushfire risk. Please stay aware of announcements and recommendations by the CFA if staying at a high-risk time.

About the host

Hi, am currently working in Sydney so the "farm" is available for rent. My daughter has her horses in the paddocks which make for interesting viewing sometimes.

Why they chose this property

It's quiet. Sure the usual distant chainsaw every now and then but the neighbours are nice and respectful. It's away from things but not isolated. Only 8 min to Gisborne, 12 to Macedon, 18 to Kyneton, and 14 to Woodend.

What makes this property unique

Central A/C for heating and cooling makes all the difference.
Doggos welcome to sleep in the tiled laundry that has an A/C duct for heating and cooling and a doggy door suitable for doggos up to whippet size.
Big windows to stare out of. A deck that is beautiful. An opportunity to sit and relax. The ideal place to WFH for a week in a different environment.
