Southern Downs Regional oceanfront rentals

Stayed in this lovely house for a few nights during winter and absolutely loved the fireplace on a cold night. The house easily accommodated 4 adults and 3 kids, with a large living area, dining area, 2 large bedrooms with queen beds, and another bedroom with 2 single beds and even another trundle bed. All beds had electric blankets, and the whole house had ducted air to keep us all warm. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything from a wine fridge to a pizza oven (although we couldn't find any of the utensils for the pizza oven). The property has a large backyard which the kids made use of. Location is great for accessing the sights and eats nearby. If you are looking for a comfortable and convenitaly situated stay in Stanthorpe, I highly recommend this property.

Sue and Marty were so lovely and accommodating with everything we could need. The cottage is small but perfect for a base to explore the surrounds.

We had a wonderful stay at the Creek View cottage. The kids loved the games I. The house and we enjoyed the beautiful location backing onto the Quart pot creek reserve. The house in beautifully kept and a great central location for Stanthorpe.

Beautiful country cottage in peaceful surroundings. We really enjoyed our stay, Beth is a wonderful host providing everything you need for a stress free stay. Fresh eggs from the girls was an added bonus plus all the lovey treats she left for us, totally unexpected. Enjoyed visiting the chooks, sheep and Guinea fowl each day. Great location for exploring the area. We came to relax but did visit Suttons apple orchard for their famous delicious apple pie, Jersey girls cheese factory, yum, Vincenzo’s deli also yum and The Granite Belt Brewery, you can see there’s a theme going on here, ha ha. We also had a walk to Queen Mary Falls in an attempt to burn off some of the extra calories. I would highly recommend four chooks cottage for anyone looking for a comfortable country getaway. Our stay in Stanthorpe was effortless and cozy. The fireplace kept us warm at knight and the winery’s kept us busy during the day. Davadi Cottage is exactly like the pictures and walking distance to the grocery stores and high street.

This is everything you want for a stay in the country, with plenty of things to do all within 20 minutes. Yes, you may not have WiFi, but really, do you need it when you have everything else. Thank you Andrew.

Very comfortable well equipped cottage. Quiet location within walking distance to the town centre. We would all stay there again and would recommend to friends.
