This apartment is clean and fresh, walking distance to the airport Skybus; public transport at Flagstaff stations; Victoria Market; a supermarket and endless restaurants. The location seemed cleaner and safer than other areas of the CBD. The bed is comfy, the shower bliss and the heater worked well. It was great to have a kitchen, a lot more space and was cheaper than a hotel. A very comfortable stay and we would book again on the next visit.

We were so pleased to be in Country Cottage. It’s got the feel and character we like, so lacking in most short term accommodation. It’s quiet for sleeping in and has lovely places to sit to eat or relax in the garden and the house, whilst being close to the buzz of Brunswick, good food and great shopping. A perfect blend of the best of both worlds.

This place is so cool and really well-equipped for a group stay. We had a great weekend, basing ourselves in Preston to explore the surrounding suburbs. I could’ve happily spent a rainy weekend indoors enjoying the quirky mud bricks, modern facilities, thoughtful inclusions and well equipped kitchen. Perfectly equipped, tastefully decorated, and fabulously located, this apartment was flawless for my needs and wants. The aircon was an absolute blessing on back to back 40 degree days. Hugo the host shared clear instructions for everything, is prompt and easy to communicate with, and has thoughtfully approached this property. Cannot recommend it and Hugo enough!
