This was one of the best places we've ever stayed. Stunning location, super-helpful host, but most of all an attention to every fine detail for a non-toxic environment. Tastefully furnished with everything you could want in kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. Can I give 6 stars?

Clean. Tidy. Exactly as presented on the listing. Stunning spot.
We we're unfortunately housebound due to a storm rolling in over the New Years period. While Coromandels beaches were left unexplored, and on a positive note, it was a great place to sit back and watch the storms roll on by.

We had a great time with our family at Top of the Hill Coromandel.
We enjoyed the many sights of coromandel as well as a bit of fishing. The accomodation and everything that it offered was great. The kids had a great time on the flying fox, playing on the play equipment, exploring and walking the walk trail down to the stream.
The accomodation was great, not for everyone, but we loved it. Plenty of room for the whole family up stairs and a well equipped kitchen, bathroom and laundry down stairs with a pool table that everyone enjoyed.
Over all a great place to stay with it’s own unique character.

We had a fantastic stay at Johan's bach in Whangapoua just what we needed, the bach had everything and more, it was clean and tidy and tucked away so was very peaceful, my kids loved the grass area, games and dvd cupboard and we loved spending most of our time eating outside. Nothing was a problem and Johan was always happy to accomodate our requests. Thankyou hopefully we will be back one day soon.
