Nine Elms pet-friendly rentals

House was so comfortable and suitable for two families of 5 to share Christmas in London. House clean and well equipped. Easy to access transport routes and supermarkets. Communication was spot-on. We loved it.

Location perfect. Flat average. First impressions not so good, dead flowers in window boxes. Safety issue with iron, plug broken and held together with an elastic band. Ironing board cover old and dirt marks. Sheets in back bedroom very old, thin and balls due to being old. Lamp did not work. Kitchen. Oven was not workkng found book in draw and fixed, oven trays in draw under oven rusted. Otherwise kitcen good. Heating working only on back bedroom and kitchen area. Shower in main room is only a hand held one. No hook in bathroom to hang towells. Loads of leftover food items in kitchen, would suggest a clean out of some before new guests arrive along with old items in main bathroom. It appeared that this flat is not checked very often.bu owners. Lastly, when booked we payed initial deposit and was due to pay further at later dates. We were however asked by the host to pay before those dates, we did in good faith. We still have not received a receiot. We would suggest that a bir of care and attention go i to the flat.

Stayed for 10 nights over xmas 2022 - big mistake. The host was easy to communicate with and responsive to queries and Check in was prompt with good instructions. Location excellent with tube and convenience stores at the door step. The view was also amazing of the Thames. Unfortunately the apartment is let down by the lack of attention to detail. The photos misrespresent the condition of the unit - mould in the showers and around windows/doors, cracked bathroom tiles, bath didn’t drain properly because the plug hole could hardly be opened, walls and kitchen hadn’t been wiped down in ages as the dirt left on the wipes I used were filthy. A wet white pillow case had been left in the dryer which was mouldy, the one tea towel provided was disgusting - large hole and very worn - you wouldn’t use it to wipe the floor. Host did not provide an alternative after being advised, so I ended up purchasing my own. Towels were so thin and you could feel the springs in the beds. Kettle was disgusting inside - really needed replacing. I just boiled water on the stove. I understand That England is damp and hence the mould but isn’t this something that should be Checked and cleaned prior to checking in? Some bleach would have helped immensely. Sadly this apartment has not been maintained and many aspects are worn and tired. The cleaners should be sacked as the unit felt grimy and didn’t feel I could trust the cleanliness. Our friend was staying in Anchor House tower and this unit is in Bridge house. Her apartment was a lot newer and modern. If you can find an apartment in the Anchor House tower I think it will be more modern. Her apartment was perfect. Unfortunately this site does not allow traveller photographs so I can’t upload examples. If I had known the true condition of the apartment I wouldn’t have booked it and spent 10 nights in it (including Xmas). Go elsewhere or just be prepared for what you’ll be getting (bring bleach, wipes and own tea towels).

As a family of 4 traveling from Australia, this was the perfect place to stay in London. The apartment is situated in a beautiful old building (it’s actually an old children’s hospital which is perfect for me as a children’s nurse!) with 2 bedrooms and all the comforts of home including Netflix and Disney+ for the kids! The apartment was clean and tidy and stocked with all the little things needed to make our stay just that little bit more comfortable. The location is perfect! Just 2 mins from Oval tube station where you can get to all the tourist attractions with ease. We managed to see everything during our 10 day stay! Olinga was a fantastic host with great communication. I would definitely recommend this accommodation and we would stay here again in a heartbeat!
