We stayed for nearly two weeks. We found the place to be excellent for the 5 (plus dog) who stayed at various times. The decor was great and amenities well thought out. Would highly recommend for a family or group or friends to get together.

We were lucky staying this property in autumn. View from windows were just perfect. Property is very clean and has character. Owner is very friendly and response was quick. I recommend this property for 2 couples, family of 4 with pets. The best thing is not too far from city. However experience is totally countryside’s relaxing getaway.

Beautiful property and excellent accommodation.

Such a lovely getaway in the most perfect spot. The home is soo beautiful, with everything one could need. Alex and her team have gone above and beyond to make your stay stress-free and comfortable. With all the modern appliances, and thoughtfully considered home wares and wall paper, art pieces and books, it’s a home away from home. Our girls just loved the Xmas tree and decorations and the fresh bread and Champagne on arrival was the most thoughtful touch. Made our Xmas extra special. With its quant little outdoor area out the back, like you’ve stepped out into a country garden scented with English roses. For those that love the outdoors, just a short stroll from the botanical gardens and the supermarket is within walking distance, in case you need to pick something up for dinner. And in the Main Street, so many cute stores including Alex Muir store in the front, you can’t help but step inside and peruse all the gorgeous unique pieces. We loved it and hope to visit again when we return to Kyneton. Thank you again Alex.

2 families stayed. We booked for a wedding. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms so we weren't falling over one another. There was an excellent kitchen with everything we needed. Woodend is not far away for groceries. Adam lit the wood heater which was most appreciated as we found the weather brisk after coming from Queensland. Views and surrounds were lovely. Very peaceful and quiet. We would definitely visit again and recommend Grangehill, for any length of time; a weekend or a week.

7 days of luxury, peace and tranquillity. Cooks dream kitchen with Smeg appliances, certainly was the 'home' away from home for our Christmas feast. Dog loved being able to be himself when harness was off. Chooks, Cats and Horses were just as relaxed, no interactions.
