Francesco’s apartment was absolutely splendid! Not only, was it in the best area to stay in Florence (in my opinion), but it was also equipped for all your traveling needs. The apartment itself was spacious, clean and had a lovely kitchen/dining room. The location is steps away from Ponte Vecchio and various fabulous restaurants. I could not recommend this accommodation enough!

Nina our host was so delightful and very helpful. Her Communication was always prompt. She provided contact details for wine tours, restaurants, supermarkets and gelato places. She also organised our taxis to the airport. Order these the day before in Florence as they can be hard to get on the day. The penthouse has awesome views of Florence. Especially good for sunset drinks. There is plenty of room to spread out. There is a hill to walk up from the main part of town and several flights of stairs without a lift. So not ideal for elderly people or people with medical conditions. The apartment says it’s recently renovated which refers to the bathrooms. Good central location.

A fabulous location, one street back from the Ponte Vecchio. The apartment is located in small arcade so there are secure gates at each end, which is good at night for security. The address is slightly obscure, our taxi driver, pointed into the arcade and said it is down there. However, the owner, Gianni, was on hand to greet us and let us into the apartment. Although tiny, it is really well equipped with 2 double beds with ensuite and a central kitchenette, laundry in a cupboard, lounge and dining table. Good use has been made of the space. High speed WIFI. Walking distance to all attractions and a 2 minute walk to the Arno River and Boboli Gardens. There are great restaurant options, especially around Santa Spirito. Gianni welcomed us to the apartment, he gave a tour offered instructions and he also showed us relevant locations on the map, and good restaurant recommendations. Gianni also stocked the fridge with water, soft drinks, beer and provided a welcome bottle of wine. I would definitely stay there again if visiting Firenze.

Our plan was to secure a well located and comfortable flat (apartment) in Florence and live there for three weeks. Unpack, settle in and come and go as we would if we lived there. This worked so well and we were delighted with our stay. In fact the flat was a highlight of the trip. So well located, stunning views of the Ponte Vecchio and the constant movement of happenings on the Arno River. As a family closely associated with the sport of rowing we were delighted in seeing so much activity with the rowing club opposite. The flat was perfectly arranged and all facilities were available . Comfortable, and tastefully furnished. The kitchenette was quite adequate and well provided with implements. The large double bed was superbly comfortable. We were hosted graciously, welcomed, and made to feel that assistance was always available. A lovely flat, superbly located with access to the old part of Florence. Restaurants close at hand as are the antiquities of the city.
