Excellent place for a mid-winter family stay. We loved the open plan layout, furnishings and fireplace! Very cosy with the fireplace on and lots of space to relax. The bedrooms were also nicely presented and had all of the required comforts for those cold nights. Then there is the amazing location with it being only a short walk to the square so you have ready access to everything. You could also walk to some of the nearby vineyards or alternatively borrow the bikes from the garage. We would not hesitate to stay again when we come back. Mike

A very lovely easy living house in a beautiful location. Wonderful to be child and dog friendly.

Taraview Cottage was exactly as described and easy to locate. It is well equipped and the beds comfortable. Early mornings were spent in the luscious back garden listening to the sweet bird songs. A bench hidden amongst the cottage flowers was the perfect space to meditate as the sun rose while at the other end of the day, the front porch became the spot to sip a wine as the sun set. Lake Ferry is a beautiful place to stay and Loburn Bach is conveniently located on the main road to Onoke Spit. Andy was very welcoming and friendly when we arrived. The bach was warm and cosy and had everything that we required. It is sited in a quiet location and the surrounding garden was lovely.
