A wonderful cosy get away in a well appointed cabin

We loved our two nights at the cosy Winemakers Hut. Tastefully decorated with everything you need for a lovely relaxing getaway. An easy drive into Hahndorf and access to the surrounding wineries. We briefly met our charming hosts who couldn’t have been more amenable. Highly recommend!

The property itself was a delight to explore its stunning gardens offered a peaceful retreat, with fresh tomatoes and vibrant greenery.One of the standout features of our stay was the breathtaking view overlooking the rolling hills. Whether enjoying a morning coffee or unwinding in the evening, the scenery made the entire experience feel serene and unforgettable.For anyone looking for a tranquil getaway, surrounded by natural beauty and warm hospitality, I wholeheartedly recommend staying here in the hills. We enjoyed our four night stay at Ashton retreat. We found it a welcoming place to relax and enjoy the established extensive gardens around the retreat.The little touches made it special-a full fruit bowl, fresh milk , a variety of breakfast cereals, fresh coffees and a variety of teas etc. Kate and Andy were very welcoming - - thank you for the delicious homemade berry jam and fresh homegrown rhubarb. We are looking forward to returning in the near future.

Host Albert was a top guy who was so accommodating and nothing was any trouble. So welcoming and just wanted to make sure you enjoyed your stay. Great views and the day bed with fire was so relaxing at night under the stars. We will definitely be back Adam & Sharna
