Alexandria City County ski-in/ski-out rentals

Alexandria is a town oozing with charm and filled with so much fascinating history. With 3 sons (one teen, 2 adults) we were pleasantly surprised how easy it was to get around and at times do our own thing without any worries. Catching the metro to Washington was easy and quick. Our home provided ample room for our family and was deceptively bigger than it looks from the street & extremely well appointed. Would highly recommend & haven’t ruled out visiting again one day :)

The house had lots of character - we loved the artworks and general feel of the place. There were a bunch of food items and cooking materials so we could cook reasonably well at home when we wanted to. The USB charging ports in the alarm clocks in the bedroom and on the buffet in the dining room were fantastic for our device-heavy family. The walk to the waterfront and main historic / shopping area of Old Town was 20 - 30 minutes and there were plenty of things nearby for dinner and grocery choices as well. This was a great place to stay to catch up with our friends in the DC area.
