Holiday rentals near Gellibrand Bushland Reserve

I can’t recommend this place highly enough. Diana provided all necessary information and then some leading up to our stay.The house and property were better than described.There was such a calm feel as soon as we arrived. The picture windows in the lounge room were beautiful.The house had everything we needed, and thanks to Diana’s information anything the house didn’t have, we prepared for and brought with us.Had the house not been booked right after us we would have extended our stay.We will absolutely be back.

A beautiful country cottage with everything you need. Very homely and comfortable. Whilst it was isolated, it was 20 mins to Forrest (brewery) Gellibrand (brewery), and not from from beautiful locations including Elizabeth lake, amazing walks and waterfalls. lots of animals including cows (but far enough to not be noisy). Great mountain biking too. Highly recommend.

The peaceful location, not far from Forrest township, was a beautiful place to stay. The views from the room, overlooking the river valley were lovely. Many birds and even a koala could be seen from our room. The room was well appointed and a generous breakfast hamper provided. Thankyou!!

Perfect place to relax after a day of adventure. Peaceful, central location. Phoebe has thought of everything to ensure a great stay.

Exceeded expectations and just loved everything about it. House is cosy and inviting with plenty of space inside and out. Beds were very comfy and loved how isolated it is! Beautiful nature all around us was such a treat and this place would be enjoyed by families or couples. Would go back for sure!

We are a family of two adults and two kids. We had a lovely relaxing stay at Marty's cottage over the school holidays. The house was easy to find and very well located to walk to the general store and brewery.We loved the wide and covered front deck with the view through the front garden to the Forrest common across the road. The kids loved having the playground across the road too.The house was very clean and well appointed. The kitchen is very user friendly, with a great coffee machine and oven, and really everything you could need!The house was warm and cozy, with a couple of very efficient heaters and a working fireplace in the kitchen. The bathroom is clean and functional. The back of the house feels older and more rustic than the front section, but this was part of the charm, and perfectly liveable.As mentioned in the house description, there is no bedding, so you need to bring your own doonas, sheets and pillowslips, as well as towels. The Forrest Brewery is fantastic for a meal or drink, and there are lots of great walks, waterfalls, biking nearby. We also enjoyed visits to Apollo Bay and Lorne for some beach time. Marty the host was very responsive and helpful.We would love to return in the future. Thanks for sharing your cottage with us Marty :)
