Lorralynbra Holiday House

Description

Lorralynbra is a beautiful and relaxing 16.5 acre property located just 2 minutes drive from Yea Township, approximately 1.5 hrs drive NE of Melbourne. The self-contained holiday home boasts cathedral ceilings, polished boards and new furniture and appliances. To assist your stay, all the modern conveniences such as reverse cycle air-conditioning, dishwasher, oven, microwave, TV, DVD, music system and fully equiped laundry are included. The house sleeps a maximum of 8 people. Two bedrooms have queen size beds each fitted with electric blankets. The third bedroom contains bunks, and a single bed with trundle. The sofa bed in the family room also folds into a double bed, if required. Quilts and pillows are provided. NB: linen and towels are not routinely supplied. Linen hire is available in some instances. Things to do

Curl up on a sofa, relax and read a book or listen to some music. Watch a DVD or video. Play one of the games supplied. There is a gas BBQ on the decking for outdoor cooking as well as some furniture to allow you to relax and take in the wonderful views of the surrounding country side. From the house you can view the magnificent valleys surrounding Yea, watch the local and migratory birds that visit or if you feel like some exercise - take a walk around the property or stroll to town for a coffee or brunch! Keep watch for the local anteater, kangaroos and other wildlife. The top dam also has plenty of yabbies if you're into yabbying. The property is close to Yea's shops, cafes, wetlands and local wineries. And, if you are into bushwalking, fishing, wine tasting, ballooning or skiing there's plenty to do. Lorralynbra is centred not far from National Parks, waterfalls, Lake Eildon, the Yarra Valley wineries and the Victorian snowfields (the closest being Mt Bulla).

Pets and Children

Pets are welcome including horses (conditions apply). Please enquire when booking. The property is fenced and smaller pets are allowed inside just not on furniture or beds. Pets must have a current vaccination certificate. You need to bring pet bedding as this is not supplied. Due to dams, creek and wildlife on the property both pets and children must be supervised at all times.
