The property was warm & welcoming and has fabulous views.
The owner was very friendly, welcoming and helpful.
The property managers Marsdens Cottages were not helpful. The stated check in and out was 4pm to 9 am. (This varied according to where we were reading). Marsdens refused any flexibility, yet the owner was happy to extend (out of season).
The VRBO site said "pets welcome", but only 1 pet was welcome, so we had to make other arrangements for our 2 labradors. We suspect that the owner would have been much more flexible!
The WiFi is not really functional - could not open internet browser or receive emails. No phone signal or 4G in the cottage.

Superb accommodation and location
We could not fault the accommodation in any way. The barn conversions have been done to the highest standards and with much attention to detail. The accommodation was extremely comfortable and the owners, who live on site, very welcoming and helpful (including assistance with engine maintenance!). Lots to see in the immediate area and even more by travelling a little bit further. We had a wonderful few days and would love to return.
