Guest Reviews

  • "Thank you Martina & Kees for sharing a little piece of your magical world with us. We couldn't have asked for anything better. Every attention to detail was shown. The cottage was just perfect for my family. We had a very comfortable stay and the location was great for day trips to Mt Buller. The kids loved waking up to the kangaroos outside every morning! We hope to come back and stay again soon. Thanks once again for a memorable holiday."

  • "Just lovely. The house was very clean, comfortable and warm with extra good beds. Privacy and plenty of walking space matter to us and Wongabeena had it all. Hope you will have us back."

  • "A truly great escape from the rat race in a very cosy, comfortable and well equipped cabin surrounded by majestic views on all sides. Fantastic location as Wongabeena is close to Mansfield but far enough away to feel at peace. There is also great access to plenty of outdoor activities at the alpine resorts and Mount Samaria State Park."

  • "The house was cosy and warm with comfortable beds and lots of hot water. It was a great place to stay with children with lots of land surrounding it with kangaroos in the morning. It is a great affordable option and Martina was a very pleasant lady to deal with. "

  • "lovely cottage, great value, easy drive to Mansfield and Mt Bullah. The accommodation was clean and the owners could not have been more helpful. After a big day on the mountain, it was great to come "home" to a warm fireplace and relax. Highly recommended."

  • "We stayed at Wongabeena to enable us to do a couple of day trips up to Mt Buller for the snow season. Access to Mt Buller was great and the house was ideal to come home to after a hard day on the slopes. The wood heater was toastie warm and just perfect to sit around and there was plenty of wood available. The kitchen had everthing we needed and everything was in good working order and clean. We were 2 couples and thought the property was ideal in size and we city folk got a kick out of seeing the Kangaroos grazing outside our windows.. Thanks for a lovely stay. We'd definately come back and recommend."
