Enjoy warm and friendly service at this charming rural retreat. Holberry House is a classic double storey English Manor, complete with conservatory. Perched high on 4 acres of landscaped gardens with a winter brook, in the townsite of Nannup.
Nannup is a quaint historic town nestled on the banks of the Blackwood River, and surrounded by magnificent native forests and rolling green farmlands, in the heart of an ever growing wine region in the South West of Western Australia. Located 300 kms south of Perth Nannup is easily accessible by road and bus services. Nannup is within an hours drive of Margaret River, Busselton and Pemberton.
Holberry House features six elegantly appointed guest rooms. One is an Executive Suite with a spa. Each room is furnished with antiques and has ensuite bathroom, airconditioning and heating. Downstairs is a large guest lounge with open log fire, conservatory and dining room. There is a pool for summer relaxation.
Holberry House offers a relaxing alternative with warm country hospitality in a beautiful rural town.
We also offer a self contained cottage for two people within 100 metres of the main house. The cottage has rural vistas is decorated in romantic furnishings with a log fire in the bedroom.
Location
By Car. Entering Nannup from the direction of Perth turn first left into Grange Rd over the bridge. Holberry House is number 14. There is good road signage.
By Bus. The bus terminal is at the Tourist Bureau on Brockman Rd. At the crossroads of Brockman and Warren Rd you will see Grange Rd. Holberry House is 100 metres from the Tourist Bureau.
We are happy to collect you from the bus station if required.
Local Attractions
You can walk to the art and woodcraft galleries, restaurants, antique shops and vineyards. There are many walk trails both along the river bank and through the hill top and forests surrounding the townsite.
Attractions in the area include:
Blackwood Winery, Tathra Winery and Restaurant, Nannup Lavender Farm, Nannup Tulip Farm, Chestnut farm, canoeing, trout catching, marron farms, birdwatching and bushwalking. Nannup is an hours drive from Margaret River, Busselton, Manjimup and Pemberton. Balingup and Bridgetown are only a 1/2 hour drive. The Bibbulmun Track is 12 kms away and the Munda Biddi cycle trail passes nearby.
