Lakeside Holiday House is a recently renovated property only metres from the lake. There are stunning lake views from the living areas, bedrooms and kitchen. The house is tastefully decorated and well appointed to ensure you enjoy your holiday experience. There is a large games room as well as kayaks and a deep water mooring directly in front of the house. There is off-street parking so you can bring your own boat. Enjoy long walks along the picturesque waterfront reserve. It's perfect for all seasons.
Lakeside holiday house is situated on the shore of Lake Macquarie, Australia's largest saltwater lake which is over four times the size of Sydney Harbour. Lake Macquarie is a stunning waterway famous for it’s clear deep blue waters and abundant bird and marine life. It is also conveniently located - just 50 minutes north of Hornsby or 90 minutes from the CBD/Eastern Suburbs.
Fully self-contained house with modern furnishings throughout.
Sleeps up to 7 people:
Bedroom 1: Queen size bed
Bedroom 2: Two single beds
Sleepout: Bunk with double on the bottom and single on the top.
There is a seperate bathroom and toilet.
There is a beautiful sunroom with stunning 180 degree views of the lake.
Games room:
The games room has a table tennis table and foos ball.
There is reverse cycle airconditioning.
Kayaks and a deep water mooring to make sure you maximise your enjoyment of the water.
Gwandalan is on a peninsula on the southern reaches of Lake Macquarie which is Australia’s largest coastal saltwater lake and is approximately four times the size of Sydney Harbour.
Only 1 hour drive north from the start of the F3 at Wahroonga, you will be able to enjoy all these activities:
- The Village and Bowling club with Award winning Restaurant are a short walk away.
- Tennis & sports club within 5 minute drive
- 10 minute drives to Fraser Beach or beautiful Catherine HIll Bay
- Fishing: cast a line from the backyard!
- Table tennis and Foos ball
- Kayaking
- Boating - deep water mooring
- Dining: Choose from several restuarants within a 15 minute drive including the Catho Pub or restaurants at Rafferty's Resort (12 minute drive), Murray's Beach or....just kick back & relax with a BBQ as you enjoy the spectacular lakeviews.
...& for those necessities, there is a local corner shop within walking distance (along the lake's edge), or take a 15 minute drive to Lakehaven or Swansea for supermarkets & more restaurants.
