Holiday rentals near Historic Monuments of Ancient Kyoto

Very clean had everything we needed had train noises but not all night so not a problem- close to trains and shops - fantastic place

This was our second time staying at this lovely property and weren’t disappointed. We had everything we needed for a super comfortable stay.

Authentic accommodation. The host and the owner were wonderful. We dealt with Satoru who was amazing. Speaks fluent English and very knowledgeable of the area. His recommendations were great especially for food. Will happily stay there again.

Was fantastic to stay in a traditional Japanese home in typical Japanese street in Kyoto. Close to supermarket and convenience stores and easy walk to 2 train stations and buses.

We were greeted at the door by Yoshiko. Lovely to meet with her again. She explained changes that had happened since Covid. The machiya is a piece of history and is so peaceful. The bath is amazing with a feature that will fill then notify you that it is ready. The garden off the bedroom is a calming place to enjoy. This is such a well situated place to stay. We would love to return.

This is a lovely Japanese house that easily accomodated all 8 of us. The kitchen was fully equipped and had a lovely kitchen table to gather around. Terrific location near JR line. Great local restaurants an easy walk away. Bed rooms were lovely. We'd highly recommend this house.
