Lovely apartment for our Christmas holiday

The stay went very well. Thankyou.It is well located near family/very convenient.The apartment is spacious and has a good kitchen. I got used to the noises upstairs.However the mattress may need replacing.

Great easy stay

My partner and I stayed here recently with our fur babies to visit my bestie. It made our visit easy, secure and stress free. Good little apartment with a great yard with all the amenities needed and in working order. The host was great with communication and clear about what we needed. We'll definitely be staying here for our visits to Gero from now on

Washing machine was useful. Take away food at end of street was convenient. Noisy footsteps from upstairs was annoying. Vertical drapes at entrance a bit tatty. In general ok.

Spacious ground floor unit

We enjoyed our stay. The property was very clean, and had everything we needed. There were shutters on most of the windows, which I couldn't seem to open, so it was quite dark inside, and you do get quite a bit of noise from people walking around upstairs. Unfortunately the TV wasn't working - I tried to notify the owner, but I think I may have replied to the email rather than using the contact owner link, as I never heard from her. Overall, we had a very comfortable stay though.

Only a few minor set backs required a exhaust fan in the bathroom hand basin drainage slightly blocked bedroom could use a fan

Executive my arse Felt more like a prison All outside where down and closed and they where all broken so you can't open them all windows are also closed and locked Shower door surround full of black mould Constantly hear people upstairs moving around I am struggling to find any thing good to say

2nd time staying there.

Lovley place to stay. Messaged owner about a leaking shower. Plumber arrived about 2hrs later to fix it. Unfortunately he couldn't do it as it was going to be a big job, but wow how quickly was she. What a wonderful host,will definitely stay again.

It was fine for what we wanted, close to family, that accepted pets. A bath mat would of been good, as well as a plug for bathroom sink. The cleaners may want to get rid of all the used soaps in bathroom, in the cupboard. But had all the mod cons we needed. So would stay again

Downstairs in Green

Bob and I were impressed with the facilities in the lovely little flat. Our Dog loved running around the large section. We were thrilled to discover a large dog park just across the road and 2 dog beaches nearby. The distance from town wasn’t a consideration as it is still close. The Hungry Jacks at the end of the road came in handy. We really enjoyed our stay and will make it our regular holiday place from now on. Regards Joyce

Stressful

Initially the apartment was double booked. The host sorted it but if I hadn’t messaged to check the code I would have been stranded. At 75yo that’s stressful. The people upstairs banged and crashed until midnight, very poor sound proofing. The app is hopeless I’ll never use it again.

Noisy

Other renters upstairs were exceedingly noisy. Appeared to be a people who organised a party on Saturday night with noise of oartyinf going till 4 am in the morning. Throughout the night, sounds of furniture being dragged around and stomping on floorboards above severely disrupted sleep. Owners need to screen who rent their property.

On entering the house the smell of dampness was really bad. I then went to open the windows of the bedroom to "air" the house out. The windows were disgusting and there was so much debris between the windows and the roller shutters. Since the bed was directly under the window I did not want any of the debris to be blown onto the bed. The lounge suite in the sitting area was like something that had been picked up on bulk rubbish. Torn fabric showing the foam cushion, seat cushion was broken and sank when sat on. This was a real shame, if these issues were resolved it would have made the stay much more pleasant. A plus was that the bed was very comfortable.
