My sister & I had 5 nights at Kupu Kupu Villa. It was everything & more than what we had anticipated. A true gem

Loved our stay here. We stayed in fancy hotels in other areas but nothing beat our time in Ubud in this villa. The pool is bigger than it looks, it outdoor showers are great. Wonderful stay at Villa Lotus. The Villa is large and very comfortable. The pool is amazing, really beautiful. Many hours spent poolside. Lots of room, Sun beds, and a cabana. The staff were beautiful people, the meals they cooked delicious and we enjoyed their company during their working hours at the Villa. Great for large gatherings- family or friends, with room to “getaway “. The Villa is situated 5 kilometres away from Lovina. There is no restaurants nearby. (There had been one but it’s now closed). There’s an almart, and little stores but not much else. The only drawback of the Villa was the 20k each way into town and back.

When opening the gate to our private 2bdrm Villa garden, we knew we were in paradise! The manicured grounds surround the long pool with umbrella covered sun beds at either end. The massive single story Villa has huge glass sliding doors from all rooms which open up to this picturesque pool garden. The air conditioned bedrooms are both very large and roomy, with a comfy king bed dressed in quality cotton linens, relaxing daybed lounge, huge LED tv, plus blackout curtains for glass sliding doors. Both bedrooms include large ensuite with spacious open shower (one suite also has a bath tub). The very massive living area includes several big daybed lounges, a beautiful large dinning table in central area, then a huge open kitchen with free standing island bench and all the necessary appliances, dishes and cutlery required for any cooking needs. Outside is a beautiful open covered BBQ area with prep bench and large dinning table. Most importantly, the staff and management are truely amazing. Manager Gede was always contactable for any queries or extra needs. Daily professional cleaning service, plus fresh linens every 3 days, included. For my husbands birthday, the staff decorated the garden with broken flower peddles laid in amazing designs and a birthday greeting for him, and a lovely arrangement on the dinning table. Truely amazing! This Villa is located in a quiet residential area about 10min drive to Ubud city with easy access to taxi service.

Stayed for 8 nights in late Feb - 4 adults and 2 children. Had a wonderful time is this big Villa that has lots of garden space for children to run and play. Nice relaxing spots for adults to unwind and the most spectacular view of the ocean from the big pool and lovely rice field view from out the front of the Villa. Staff are friendly, helpful and unobtrusive. Wayan is as others have stated a very good cook and we all enjoyed our meals, the children especially enjoyed the spring rolls, chicken dishes and fried rice. This Villa is such excellent value Lovina is a short drive away and many restaurants offer a pick up and drop back service if you want to venture out, Krishna watersports is within walking distance although they also offer free transport and also have 2 restaurants. Fantanstic land is nearby and fun for kids. Pepito Supermarket in Lovina is well stocked with anything you need and Tip Top is good for wine and money exchange. The local shop a few minutes walk up the road sells beer and soft drinks. The staff at the Villa will help you arrange anything you need. Its Bali.... nothing is too hard or too much trouble. We will certainly return.
