Holiday rentals near L’Atelier des Cendres

We had such an amazing stay here. The location is perfect for a quiet spacious place, that’s short driving distance to many spectacular villages across the Luberon including short drive to Gordes. The house has everything you need to feel at home in Provence, and the gardens are a standout - so beautiful, considered and well kept that you won’t want to leave. The pool is also brilliant and we spent a lot of time creating memories with our kids in the pool and garden. Veronique was excellent in hosting. We hope to be back someday!!

We enjoyed our 3 night stay at the property. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. We did need to ask for bath towels as these are not provided. Also a 50 Euro cleaning fee is imposed if you do not perform the cleaning yourself. Overall, a good stay and recommend to others.

This gîte was the best we have ever stayed in, and we come to France regularly. It was exactly as described and shown in the photos, but even better. It is a beautifully designed house with so many special touches - certainly not just your usual holiday let. The gîte was beautifully clean throughout and felt like a home away from home. We had two wonderful weeks here and were sorry to leave. The accomodation was excellent: The kitchen and dining area led onto the courtyard. Our joy was to come home after a day's touring and enjoy our apéro sitting in the courtyard admiring the view of the cliffs with chateau perched on top. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and even included a Delonghi coffee maker. Downstairs there was a very comfortable and large living room with a view. The two bedrooms (both ensuite) were separated allowing for privacy - ideal if you are couples travelling together. There was even a separate laundry. Both bedrooms had comfortable Queen sized beds and the ensuites were stylish as well as functional. Air conditioning was available on both levels. The location was superb with so many enjoyable day trips from Le Beaucet. Lots of opportunity for walks from here too. The village itself was lovely, with the gîte just inside the ramparts. While the gîte was superb, what made this stay truly special was the welcome we received, and continued to receive, from Catherine the owner. This is a wonderfully modern house located in Apt, a town whose central location and size makes it the ideal base for touring the Lubéron. Being a reasonably large town, Apt caters for every need a traveller might have and, being located in the centre of the Lubéron, every town and village is close by. Even Arles, Aix and Avignon are just over an hour's drive. The house is extremely comfortable with every possible convenience, including a wonderful outside deck with barbecue and swimming pool overlooking the town. All fittings are modern and work well - air-conditioning, induction stove, self-cleaning oven and remote control blinds on all windows to name a few. Thérése and Luke are wonderful hosts and went out of their way to make our stay the best it could be. Nothing was missing. This is the best holiday accommodation we have experienced in France.
