We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Rosa in Barbara’s attractively furnished, immaculately clean & spacious apartment with a deliciously comfortable bed & stacks of storage. We were welcomed with a very generous gift of fresh food & wine which kept us supplied with meals for several days.
On requesting information as to where we could purchase Italian SIM cards for our phones Barbara & her nephew Sergio drove us to buy them & translated for us throughout the process, for which we were very grateful. Barbara also gave us suggestions for beautiful places to visit in the area as well as restaurants we could try, & checked with us regularly to see if there was anything extra we needed.
One of the perks of staying at Villa Rosa was its proximity to the beach & the ownership of an umbrella & 2 lounges which we used to great advantage. Walks along the foreshore as well as the opportunity to explore mountain regions & delightful hilltop villages with stunning views over the surrounding countryside made this a visit to remember & thoroughly recommend.
