"The place was even more lovely than the photos! It was very clean, had some amazing views and all the amenities needed. There was even an electric fire which made the place very cozy at night. Sandra was one of the best hosts I've seen - warm, friendly and generous. Our kitchen had some wonderful extra treats and she was amazing with my energetic son. She even brought her quails down for him to see (which he loved)! The property also had sheep which he enjoyed feeding grass too. Truly a special...

"The property is presented beautifully and is right on the edge of the village a short walk to cafes, food store, etc. It has everything needed for a relaxing stay (including the fresh bread loaf awaiting arrival). "We had a wonderful , peaceful stay at the cottage. The only issue was that it was too short but I will stay again. John and Peter are very lovely people and make great hosts. They make themselves available if you need anything. The grounds were awesome, just so pretty and I took quite a few photos of the scenery to use as reference photos for my artwork. I loved the cottage it was so peaceful"

Plenty of birdlife, ducks in the pond and neighbouring ponds at the bottom of the valley outlook. Green rolling hills - a nice view to wake up to. Great brazier and seating around for a cosy evening fire.
Good mobile coverage (under OPTUS at least) so you're not completely untethered. Quick access to Bilpin and local attractions. The aircon works but struggles to cool even this tiny home,...
