Elwood house rentals

Perfect place for a young family. Loved the big rooms and carpets and being so close to the beach and parks. Would definitely go back!

We had 3 families needing a place to stay whilst there was a youth regatta at the local sailing club. This house was in a great location where kids (14 - 17 years) could ride their bikes or walk down the beach to the sailing club. The adults could spread out in different areas in the house. The kids enjoyed having their own space with a playstation, couch and bunk beds upstairs. Albert, the owner, was available when we locked ourselves out and gave us some flexibility with check in and check out times. We had a lovely stay.

Excellent and clean apartment within walking distance to Elwood main street and beach. We would book here again.

Enchanting capacious old house that easily accommodated a large extended family group of 4 separate adults and two primary school age children. In very cold weather, the heating was excellent/cosy. For such a large number of bedrooms (6), this house is short of bathrooms, having only one main bathroom (no bath), and one small ensuite bathroom attached to one of the bedrooms that had a king size bed. Good kitchen, great backyard for children to kick a soccer ball around. Fabulous and interesting art work throughout the house. Great location for walking around Elwood and St Kilda, particularly close access to the beach and St Kilda Botanic Gardens. Also easy access to city trams on Brighton Road. Local supermarket just a short walk away. Would definitely book this dear old property again, and would be great in any weather/season.

Beautiful home that is so ‘Melbourne’. Perfect location thats a quick walking distance to St Kilda main street, restaurants, bars, tram system. Extremely comfortable beds. We had 6 guests stay and always felt there was plenty of space of all of us. Very warm and cosy on the cooler days. No negatives to share, we all absolutely adored this home and would definitely try use again for our future melbourne trips!
