With a welcoming decor that invites guests to feel at home, it has a living and dining room, an equipped kitchen, two bedrooms with private bathrooms and a fabulous outdoor dining area where you can relax. In this sophisticated vacation home you will find amenities such as Smart TV, WiFi, coffee machine, dishwasher, washing machine and more... Outside relax on the sun loungers and enjoy delicious grilled meat and fish on the barbecue. Guest access This Villa is located in a calm and central area A 10-minute drive from the beach and Marina da Calheta and 15 from Vila da Ponta do Sol. A short drive away, you can also reach the top of Paul da Serra or do some hiking. Restaurants and bars within easy reach. The house has a spacious open-plan kitchen and living room measuring approximately 40 m2. Here you will find simultaneously the large kitchen, reading area and TV area. All on one floor, there are two bedrooms, all with sea views. Two bathrooms, both with large shower. Outdoor area with lots of sun exposure Green surroundings and panoramic views over the Estreito da Calheta. Very good sun exposure. Casa da Pinheira sits on a hillside overlooking the pretty village of Estreito da Calheta, in southwest Madeira. This stretch of coast, known as the, has some of the most beautiful views in Madeira and as such is quickly becoming the place to live and holiday for the most discerning. The house is self-contained and set in well-kept gardens with terraces for alfresco dining and sunbathing. It also has a barbecue area. Inside the house offers spacious accommodation and is furnished to a high contemporary standard. The main bedroom has a double bed and a large bathroom. The other bedroom has two single beds. Both bathrooms have showers. The large open-plan living area has a sofa, cable TV, DVD, video and CD player and a dining table. For the winter months there are oil radiators for the bedrooms. The kitchen has large cabinets with granite countertops, electric oven and hob, microwave and washing machine. There is Wi-Fi available. Parking directly at the house It is also about 5 km from Jardim do Mar, where surfing is practiced. We are just 40 km from Funchal Marina, 55 km from the airport, 4.5 km from Praia da Calheta. Arranging a rental car is recommended. Please note that this is a non-smoking house. Cleaning, bed linen, towels and tea towels are provided. Very nice house , lot of space. A nearby stocking place from a local worker but not visible from inside the house. House conveniently located to drive to the mountains. Overall happy with the rental . Jorge was supportive and friendly. A couple dogs in the area are a disturbance at night and in very early morning

Booking and communication with Jorge prior to arrival very good. He was very patient when we arrived late due to getting slightly lost in the village. The villa was clean, spacious and extremely well equipped. We enjoyed the barbecue and were able to enjoy most meals outdoors due to the lovely weather. The front of the villa gets full sun most of the day but shaded areas are there if you need them. Delightful views from living areas and bedrooms. Small supermarket and café bar within walking distance selling everything you need and at very reasonable prices. We enjoyed several walks from the villa up to the levada at Prazeres and down to the beaches, but a certain level of fitness is needed for some of them. We would most definitely stay at this beautiful villa again. Thank you for a great holiday.

Lovely accommodation

The whole property was of generous proportions, clean and well equipped and excellent value. The two shower rooms were large with big walk-in showers. All the bedrooms were really large good doubles. The lounge dinner was huge...lots of room for 6 adults. The property was easy to find with good access onto the main road. Calheta area is much quieter than Funchal and gives good access to the West, Centre and North of the Island. We would stay there again

Tolles Haus in super Lage

Waren ĂŒber Weihnachten zu dritt in diesem schönen, gut ausgestattetem Haus. Gute Lage fĂŒr AusflĂŒge an allen Ecken der Insel. Höhepunkt war am 23.12. der Weihnachtsmarkt in Funchal. Der Vermieter hat hĂ€ufiger nachgefragt, ob alles i.O. ist und uns Tipps fĂŒr Einkaufen und Ausgehen geschickt. An Ausstattung haben wir ĂŒberhaupt nichts vermisst, es war alles vorhanden. Die Zimmer sauber und groß, ebenso die BĂ€der. Wir können das Haus nur weiterempfehlen.

belle maison agréable à vivre

Belle maison au calme. Toutes les piÚces (ainsi que les salles de bains) sont spacieuses et bénéficient d'une belle luminosité grùce à leurs larges baies avec vue sur mer. L'ameublement est sobre mais fonctionnel, tout à fait adapté à un séjour de vacances. L'accueil a été trÚs sympathique. Nous ne pouvons que recommander cette location. Il convient toutefois de noter que l'environnement de la maison a évolué par rapport aux photos présentées dans l'annonce.

Schöne Ferienwohnung, leider etwas hellhörig (man hört jedes Tueroeffnen im ganzen Haus). Hat uns aber nicht weiter gestört. Sehr gute Lage und Anbindung an Strassen, um die Insel (Wanderurlaub) auf eigene Faust zu erkunden. Jorge hat uns bei der Anreise sehr hilfreiche Tips zu Einkaufen, Restaurants, Tauchen, Whalwatchig gegeben.

Maison trÚs agréable

Belle vue sur l'ocĂ©an. SituĂ© Ă  cĂŽtĂ© des vignes et des bananiers. Calheta est une ville de destination agrĂ©able. La plage de sable (2 l'une en face de l'autre) ne sont pas loin de la maison en voiture, il y a toujours de l'air, c'est trĂšs respirable, mĂȘme en cas de tempĂ©rature Ă©levĂ©e au soleil. La maison est bien Ă©quipĂ©e et assez spacieuse. Un chambre (celle Ă  cĂŽtĂ© du salon) permet de laisser de l'indĂ©pendance Ă  ceux qui y sont par rapport Ă  celle de l'Ă©tage (qui est aussi un rdc). Il y a 2 salles de bains, trĂšs pratiques. Des produits d'hygiĂšne et des Ă©quipements sur place permettent un sĂ©jour agrĂ©able. TrĂšs content de cette location. Merci Ă  Georges et Marie.

Wunderschönes Haus, perfekte Lage

Wir haben 12 wunderschöne Tage in diesem riesigen Haus verbracht. Das Haus ist gut zu erreichen und man gelangt schnell zu den beliebten Wanderzielen. Die Ausstattung in dem Haus lĂ€sst keine WĂŒnsche offen und es war blitzsauber. Von fast allen Zimmern hat man einen tollen Ausblick aufs mehr. Jorge war sehr zuvorkommend und immer bei Fragen bereit. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

We loved your villa, it's well situated, lovely views and very clean and tidy. The ladies in the party commented that it would be good if you put mirrors and waste bins in each bedroom. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in Madeira, we walked 3 Levadas and fitted in some sightseeing. We found Alby in the Navalnica snack bar very helpful - a lovely man. The supermarket opposite was very good for supplies.

Totalement satisfait de notre localisation. Tout est dans le titre, la maison a tenu ses promesses. Jorge (notre hĂŽte) a Ă©tĂ© ponctuel, sympathique et trĂšs discret. Nous n’hĂšsiterons pas une seconde Ă  le recontacter Ă  notre prochaine visite sur MadĂšre. Au final 2 semaines auraient Ă©tĂ© plus adaptĂ©es Ă  nos visites et tandis. Sehr schönes Haus netter und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber.

Tolles Haus

Wir waren 10 Tage in diesem großen, mit allem ausgestatteten Haus und haben uns sehr wohlgefĂŒhlt. Es war genauso wie in der Anzeige beschrieben. Vor allem der einmalige Blick zum Atlantik ließ uns das GlĂ€schen Wein am Abend noch besser schmecken. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in der NĂ€he, zum Baden ist es auch nicht weit und die vielen Levadawanderwege sind schnell erreichbar. Es tat gut, ein wenig abseits vom Touritrubel in einer ruhigeren Gegend sich zu entspannen. Ein kleiner Wermutstropfen: der Blick vom Balkon ist nur dann toll wenn man auf einem Stuhl sitzt – im Stehen sieht man auf eine tieferliegende sehr schmuddelige AbstellflĂ€che fĂŒr verrostete Lkw und Bagger sowie viel, viel Bauschutt und –materialien. Jorge erkundigte sich zwischendurch immer mal wieder, ob alles o.k. sei – da fĂŒhlte man sich gut aufgehoben. Danke an Jorge!! Nur noch 3 Tipps: 1. (ist nicht haustypisch) Wg. der doch vielen Ameisen keine Essensreste offen stehenlassen und AbstellflĂ€chen sauber halten, 2. Das rĂŒckwĂ€rtige Herausfahren mit dem Auto aus der Einfahrt ist wg. der SchrĂ€ge vor allem fĂŒr die FrontschĂŒrze riskant: sie schrappt dann merklich und hörbar ĂŒber dem Boden. 3. Essenstipp: Das Hotel Atrio in der NĂ€he bietet sehr gutes Essen zu einem vernĂŒnftigen Preis. Ein Besuch lohnt sich auch wg. der tollen Anlage. W. H.

Nous étions 6 personnes dont 2 enfants , 2 grandes chambres et salle de bain a l'étage, et 1 chambre avec salle de bain au réz de chaussé ,cuisine et grand salon ouverte, barbecue et parasol avec table et chaise longue sur la vue, nous avons aimés l'espace et le confort , Jorge était convivial et attentif a nos attente , la vue avec ses grandes baies vitrées majestueuses sur l'océan, tout était parfait, nous recommandons ce magnifique logement pour les prochains voyageurs
