The Barreiro is a typical construction of the Bierzo area in the Province of León. Both in its interior and in its exterior it preserves intact the elements with which it was built (slate stone, mud and chestnut wood). All the furniture of the house was recovered from the owner's family and from antique dealers in the area. Totally equiped. In the Barreiro you will feel like in a house of native town.

La casa está bien pero necesitaría una actualización en algunas cosas (puerta de entrada que no cierra, la ducha, la chimenea no tiene Morillos ni herramientas como un simple fuelle, falta menaje éramos 4 y teníamos problemas para tener platos para todos.

Petite maison de village très sympathique. Meubles et déco d’antan. Cuisine suffisamment équipée pour quelques jours. La maison est globalement très sombre et il fait frais ce qui peut être un avantage quand il fait très chaud. Une toute petite terrasse dans la cour pas très pratique. Manque un extérieur plus sympathique. Cependant cela nous a permis d’aller au bar du village et de rencontrer les habitants qui sont très sympathiques. Boulangerie juste en face de la casa.

Realmente acogedor. La casa es mejor aún que las fotos. Con materiales y mobiliario de la zona. Súper detalle de bienvenida con una empanada y botella de vino. El propietario siempre en contacto para cualquier cosa. Limpieza impecable. Muy muy recomendable. Seguro que volveremos.

Una casa encantadora

La casa es preciosa, limpia y cómoda. La decoración está cuidada al detalle. Juan Carlos se preocupó de que todo estuviese a punto y de que nuestra estancia fuese lo mas agradable posible. El pueblo está un poco lejano de la zona central del Bierzo, y aunque tiene sitios muy bonitos a su alrededor, el desarrollo turístico es todavía escaso, con las ventajas e inconvenientes que eso supone. Cómo único punto negativo del pueblo, que no de la casa, señalar que es un poco ruidoso por las noches, con niños sueltos gritando hasta tarde por las calles.

MARAVILLOSA EXPERIENCIA !!!!!!!!

Estuvimos en el puente de Diciembre y la verdad es que fue una experiencia magnifica.La casa tenía todo lo esperado y más. Desde el principio a fin el trato del dueño fue maravilloso y el detalle de bienvenida un plus más a lo esperado. Eramos dos parejas, una adolescente y 2 perros.Hemos de decir que la comodidad en la cuál nos encontramos era como estar en casa. El pueblo muy tranquilo y la gente muy amable, te ayudaban sin pedirlo.Hay un par de bares y un super pequeño, rodeado de naturaleza en la cual disfrutamos mucho. Sin duda lo recomendamos y esperamos algún día volver.

ESCAPADA DEPORTIVA

Segunda vez que nos alojamos en El Barreiro para correr una carrera de montaña de la zona y como la vez anterior hemos quedado muy contentos. La casa es amplio y con todas las comodidades. El trato del dueño es maravilloso y siempre dadon facilidades y el entorno , los pueblos y los valles son para recordar. Recomendable 100% para todo el mundo

Estupendo Lugar!!!

Estuvimos recientemente varios amigos en El Barreiro y lo pasamos francamente bien!! La casa está restaurada siguiendo la arquitectura y los detalles tradicionales de la zona. Se nota que cuidan los mínimos detalles (los interruptores de la luz son increíbles...) Juan Carlos, el dueño, es atento y detallista... el hecho de que te reciban después del viaje con dos botellitas de vino y una empanada es un detalle que no se ve habitualmente, y que se agradece de una manera infinita. Las habitaciones eran muy cómodas y las camas son geniales. Todos coincidimos al día siguiente que descansamos estupendamente! El entorno es muy acogedor. Dimos varios paseos por el pueblo y alrededores, visitando los bonitos bosques de castaños que hay en su entorno. Lo ideal para desconectar!!! Sin duda un alojamiento recomendable!!

Fantásticas navidades 2012/13

Hola, somos un grupo de amigos que pasó las navidades del 2012/13 este pueblito tan fantástico....... Las instalaciones fueron de lo más correctas, tiene una calefacción muy buena, en la cocina hay de todo y las camas muy cómodas..... realmente fueron unas navidades muy relajantes.....El dueño se portó estupendamente con el tema de la leña y de más problemas que surgieron.... Desde Help adicciones recomendamos que tengaís una estancia en este pueblito tan familiar y tranquilo, por cierto grandes rutas ha pie se puede hacer por los alrededores. Un saludo hasta pronto . P.D: Nosotros somos aficionados al Geocaching, y escondimos un tesoro por los alrededores, esperamos vuestra visita en el.
