A lovely cosy little cottage with a log burner.
A lovely cosy little cottage with a log burner.
The owner was very accommodating and greeted us on arrival and asked if we needed extra towels for our puppy as it was a wet weekend forecasted.
Inside we found home made jam, scones and dog treats which was a lovely touch.
The Dvd player wasn't working and as soon as I let them know they replaced it with a brand new one within 45 mins which was amazing.
We really enjoyed our stay

Lovely cottage, We were welcomed by Sally, there were fresh flowers and cream tea ingredients, a lovely touch on arrival, plus milk and tea/coffee & sugar. The enclosed garden was great for the dog and the fields even better. Everything we needed for a lovely quiet break and within easy reach of the coast and other attractions. Sally’s soft furnishings and quilts are beautiful. We had a fab week.

Had a lovely week in this cottage.
Had a lovely week in this cottage. Not great for those who like to stay connected via mobile/internet but this is not a surprise as clearly stated in booking info. Had all we needed, if weather was better would have been nice to enjoy the little garden. Great fields to exercise dogs in and nice welcome pack with lots of local information. Owners very helpful and friendly.

Peaceful and relaxing setting; we really enjoyed our week. Having a fully enclosed garden is such a benefit when you have a dog.
We appreciated the lovely extra treats of scones, jams and cream on arrival and some fresh flowers on the table. Always nice too when there is adequate parking and the feeling of space around you.
Thank you both.

We had a fantastic week away at Nuthatch Barn! Dave was very welcoming & the cottage was spotlessly clean, warm & comfortable. We had access to their fields which was great for exercising our dog in the morning.
The homemade soap in the bathroom, scones with clotted cream & homemade jam, small bottle of milk, biscuits & doggie treats for our little 4 legged fur baby on arrival was a very thoughtful & welcoming touch.
The peace & quiet of the countryside is just what we needed to recharge our batteries!
We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay at Nuthatch barn, it had everything we needed and very well thought out, lots of nice touches to make it feel like home. Very dog friendly, great to have a garden for the dogs early morning and late night toilet trips, but the best part was the fields adjacent to the cottages for use during our stay. Would love to visit again.

Our holiday was brilliant.
Our holiday was brilliant. Sally and Dave have amazing accommodation. Nuthatch barn was immaculate and was perfect in ever way possible. Sally and Dave’s creativity shone through. They were both very helpful without being intrusive. We loved the fact we could travel to the coast line where we had amazing walks with out two dogs. However, after along days walk we knew we would be going back to a calm and peaceful place. We will definitely be going back. We would highly recommend. Ps. Absolutely loved the free range eggs for breakfast. 😀

We enjoyed the cottage despite the weather, but we took a chance booking at the end of January. There was a lot open for the time of year. The owner of the cottage was very helpful. Having stayed in a lot of holiday properties, this one was above average.
