Fantastic for family reunions or groups of friends. Beuronne has plenty of space for everyone.
There are 6 bedrooms, well laid out over 2 floors with 3 bathrooms. 3 bedrooms have a (1m80) super king size double bed, 2 bedrooms have 1 double bed and 1 single bed and 1 bedroom has 2 singles. Large kitchen with range cooker, 3 ovens, 7 burners, and well equipped with all the necessary pots and pans for catering for 13. Two large fridges provide enough room for food and drink!!! A lovely antique dining table means everyone can eat together. Patio doors lead to the shady terrace with a outdoor lounging area with Barbecue and another large table with chairs for alfresco dining and lovely views over the swimming pool and down the river valley.

Inside there are 2 lounge areas with flat screen TVs, fire stick, DVD player, free view Sky TV and broadband WiF internet: Downstairs lounge with log burner and comfy sofas and second movie mezzanine area with bean bags.

Part of complex of 5 gites, each gite has its own separate and private garden area, but you can make new friends at the pool and games room. It is a large property with lots of different areas to explore, quiet corners to get away from it all, reading spots in the dappled shade of the surrounding wild woods.
The 12m by 6m heated pool has plenty of loungers and parasols with a paddling pool and play water table for little ones. In the 10 acres of grounds there are loads of games for the kids with swings and slides, a sand pit, trampoline, wild flower field, dressing up box and boxes of toys. There is a games room with pool table, table tennis, air hockey, boules, badminton, basketball and bikes free to use.
Our own private 1 hectare fishing lake is a short walk from the property (so is no risk to children)and is well stocked with carp, roach, pike etc. A 6kg carp was recently caught!!! or the kids can have fun trying to catch the crayfish with the special net. All equipment and expertise can be provided by Richard.

We organise fun pizza evenings in summer using the original log fired bread oven. Everyone gets together at the new communal covered terrace to make their own pizza. Followed by lovely desserts and even a chocolate fountain with traditional wooden games to entertain the children. ( July and August only)
We are situated in the Northern Dordogne area of France, famous for its truffles and ducks. Half way between the cities of Angouleme and Perigueux surrounded by beautiful rolling fields and woods. A 5 mins drive from La Rochebeaucourt with bars, restaurants and a boulangerie.
There are plenty of things to do in the local area such as canoeing, tree climbing, wine tours, chateau visits, markets, beach lakes etc
