About Jules Glasspool
I grew up in the West Indies, went to university to study Modern Languages in St Andrews, Scotland, and trained as a journalist, working as Features Editor for Country Living Magazine in London. I'm married to David and have 3 children. I love travelling, and think the best beaches in the world are in the Far West of Cornwall!
Jules Glasspool purchased this House in 2019
Why Jules Glasspool chose Sennen Cove
I fell in love with the beautiful village of Sennen and have had a house here since 2006, but then had the opportunity to build a new coastal house in the same village. Now, two years after breaking ground, we are delighted to launch our brand new house, Polgweder, on the holiday rental market. It is stylish, contemporary and comfortable and will make the perfect setting for any holiday and a great base from which to explore the Far West.
What makes this House unique
The views are stunning - nearly every window in the house (and there are lots of them!) has amazing views of sea, sky and beach. The architecture and colour scheme echo the coastal theme, keeping the atmosphere light-filled, simple and sleek. Because the house is brand new, every appliance, bed, chair etc is also new and has been chosen to fit perfectly in its new setting and make the most comfortable home away from home.

A relaxing holiday with a wonderful, always changing, view of the sea. The house was beautifully clean with everything you need for an easy stay.
Thank you for your lovely review. So glad you had a great time and enjoyed those ever-changing sea and sky views.
Great Property, Amazing Location, Fabulously Equipped.
This is a very special house in an equally special location. Wonderfully equipped, beautifully designed and furnished, and with views to die for. Would be difficult to find anywhere better!
Lovely house, amazing views
Polgweder is a fantastic place to stay. The views are stunning. We had mixed weather (August) but could enjoy the views from the comfort of the house. It was a pleasure to stay there. The walks to the beach are steep and we ended up driving most days. It was always a delight to head back to the house.
Lovely property. Very clean and comfortable. Beautiful surroundings.
Lovely house, very new and clean. Great views of Sennen and the walk down and back up is better then over Sunny Corner side if you have little ones. Outdoor shower is warm and a real bonus and I was delighted with the Nespresso machine and supply of pods. Beds are particularly comfortable as this has put us off many of the properties we have stayed at in Sennen before. This house is so lovely I did worry it was perhaps too nice for a younger family, hopefully we managed though - thanks to the dyson!
Loved this house! So relaxing and great location. 5 minutes walk to the beach and right on the SW Coast path. House is brilliantly designed and equipped-even the knives are sharp! Jules was a delight-friendly and helpful. Beautiful garden in full flower when we visited and incredible views. Filled the house with three generations and we had a fabulous time. Return visit guaranteed!
Thanks so much for your wonderful review - I am really delighted you had such a great week at Polgweder and felt so comfortable. It was an absolute pleasure to meet you, and do hope we can welcome you back again soon.
The Far West has some of the most beautiful beaches in the world - some, such as Pedn Vounder have recently become subjects of many an Instagram! But there are dozens more coves and beaches to discover: some almost hidden, some tiny, some huge, all gorgeous. You should see the extraordinary Minack theatre, carved into the cliffside or attend a performance there. Porthcurno with its easily accessible sandy beach and fascinating Telegraph museum and the iconic Land's End with views to Longships LIghthouse are worth visiting. A trip to the Scillies, a beautiful group of islands off the Land's End, is a must: you can fly from the small Land's End airport near St Just, or take the boat from Penzance. The whole of the Far West is steeped in myth and magic, with dozens of amazing ancient sites and standing stones to see and many legends to discover. Walking along the coastal paths is a wonderful experience as the scenery is never less than breath-taking. Keen surfers will love Sennen Cove, and novices can learn at the excellent Surf School on the beach which provides all the kit. The beach is lifeguarded in the high season and is wonderful for swimming, snorkelling and kiteboarding.
