About the host
Hosted by Vanda
Hello Im Vanda and I live here with my family. We love nature and feel very fortunate to be so close to all the beauty this little gem of an area has to offer. Our home is in a leafy, riverside community that is home to many large parks and public gardens within a short walking distance. We take great pleasure watching the seasons change in the nature around us home to wild deer, bright green paraqueet as well as the more traditional British wildlife. We are commuters so the close location to Central London also means we can be in the heart of all that has to offer within a direct 30-35mins train ride.
Why they chose this property
Our home provides a good mix of space and home comforts with a lovely garden ( with trampoline and pool in summer months available ). So, it’s an ideal place to relax in whilst being centrally located to great sights and attractions on the doorstep.
There is a multitude of things to do locally depending on the season - fabulous all fresco cafes for dining, paddle boarding and kayaking on the river ( few mins walk away). Rowing boats, speed boats and pedaloes can all be hired locally. Boat trips to Kew, London, Richmond are all available too. The Hampton Court Palace ( 8 mins walk) is host to not only history and inspiring architecture but, beautiful gardens to enjoy all year round.
Ice skating, RHS Flower Show, Luna Outdoor Cinema and Concerts all take place in the grounds of the Palace too.
Wimbledon (19 mins away on train), central London (35 mins), Richmond, Kew, Windsor and Chessington are all close by for a day trip.
