The famous cliffs at Slieve League, the highest sea cliffs in western Europe are 30 - 40 minute drive away.
The town of Ardara is just a few miles drive through the glorious scenery of the Glengesh Pass with pubs and restaurants galore. Nancy's Bar and the Corner House enjoy worldwide reputations for traditional music and craic. As well as being known as 'the home of the festivals', Ardara is the centre of the Donegal knitwear and weaving industry and there are many shops selling locally produced garments in wool and tweed. The quaint villages of Carrick, Kilcar and Glencolmcille nestle in spectacular scenery nearby. Belfast is 2+1/2 hours drive away. During 2012 the city commemorated the 100th anniversary of the launch of the Titanic with the opening of the state of the art Titanic Visitors Centre. The Giant's Causeway is about 3 hours' drive and also boasts a new visitors' interpretive centre, Dublin - the nation's capital 4 hours, the tourist friendly city of Galway 3+1/2 hours (approx).
