About this property

Casa AGLO consists of two fabulously purpose-built self contained apartments.

This ground floor apartment faces south west and enjoys private use of the large 8 x 4 swimming pool, the extensive lounge terrace and dining, the outdoor kitchen and garden for lounging around in the sun by the pool. It also comes complete with a BBQ to enjoy the wonderful warm evenings, the mountain views and stunning sunsets.

Inside, Casa AGLO is tastefully furnished with a fully equipped kitchen opening onto the dining area for 4 people, 42” flat screen TV with UK channels and free WIFI throughout. There is a large bathroom with walk-in shower, 2 bedrooms; one double and one twin.

From the apartment you can walk to various restaurants and bars, and couple of supermarkets. The villa is ideally located in the quiet residential area of Puente don Manuel, a suburb of the picturesque village La Viñuela. It will suit those who prefer not to have regular “resort” type holidays, but still want to be within walking distance to local amenities.

For nature lovers, there are stunning mountain trails that can be accessed directly behind the villa, and beautiful Lake Viñuela with its trails and non-motorised watersport centre is also only 1km. The Tejeda and Almijara Natural Parks and Torre del Mar Beaches are also within easy driving distance (10 minutes & 20 minutes respectively), and Malaga airport is also only 45 minutes.

Please note that the owners share driveway and garden access to upper level. Regrettably we don't accept pets and smoking is not permitted inside the apartment.

Casa tranquila.

La casa estaba muy limpia y no le faltaba de nada, incluso había bebidas y algo de aperitivo para nuestra llegada. Un lugar muy tranquilo y las anfitrionas que viven el la planta de arriba de la casa muy amables. No tiene aire acondicionado pero hay ventiladores de pie.Para los españoles, comunicar que el alquiler se paga en libras, con el consiguiente gasto bancarios de cambio de divisas.

Perfect holiday

We had a wonderful stay in Casa Aglo. Before arrival there was an excellent mail contact. We got a very clear route description to the apartment. The reception was very warm and there was a welcome packet ready. The apartment is very clean and quiet. The pool is lovely. There are a supermarket, bakery, butcher and restaurants all nearby. There is much to see in the area. A car is necessary we think. Sam and Sarah are perfect hosts. Hans en Marjolein

Excellente location

Sam et Sarah, sont des hôtes très agréables et discrètes. Les informations fournies pour trouver la maison, sont très utiles. La maison est dans un état irréprochables, bien équipée, dans un cadre reposant. Plusieurs restaurants et boutiques se trouvent à proximité, moins de 5 minutes à pieds. Je recommande vivement cette location, vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés 😉. Nous y retourneront avec grand plaisir !

5* away from it all break

The apartment exceeded our expectations. Knowing that we had booked inland (20 mins drive from the coast, Torre del Mar), we anticipated that the property may be in a remote location. We were pleased to find that the property was ideally situated, with Puente Don Manuel having local shops, bars/restaurants within walking distance, so it wasn't necessary to use the car for every trip out. On the other hand, the location is an excellent base for driving out to visit numerous local villages, coast resorts, towns etc. We visited Frigiliana, Velez-Malaga, Malaga City, Nerja and Torre Del Mar (all highly recommended), plus spent some time with friends near to Murcia, taking in some wonderful mountain views en route. We found Puente Don Manuel to be a mix of residential and holiday properties (with a few unfinished properties mixed within), with everyone we encountered proving to be very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed some good meals locally at Bar Atilia and Meson Sara, and further afield at Bar Fandangos (Frigiliana) and Safari Lounge (Torre Del Mar). Sam & Sarah go out of their way to ensure you get the very best out of your holiday. The information supplied in apartment re: the local and surrounding areas is very useful. Whilst they live above the apartment, they are not intrusive, but being on hand when needed, or to offer additional information/recommendations as and when we needed it, e.g. superb directions for parking in Nerja. They are very knowledgeable about the area, informative and pleasant to chat to. The apartment itself was a fantastic find for our holiday, more than adequate for our party of 2 adults plus 2 teenage lads. The lounge/kitchen/diner was very well equipped (plenty of cutlery, glasses, plates, basic supplies of kitchen towels etc. We wanted for nothing!). The 2 bedrooms have plenty of wardrobe space with hangers supplied. Also, the mini toiletry supplies/shower gel was most appreciated, as was the supply of both bath and swimming towels. The Cava and few beers in the fridge were a very nice welcome too! The best part of the apartment has to be the pool and outdoor space. We thoroughly enjoyed chilling out on the corner sofa under the covered terraced area, or eating al fresco at the dining table. There is ample seating, with 4 sunloungers plus parasols. The pool is beautiful, and bigger than we expected. Plenty of room for the 4 of us to be in at once. We had a wonderful holiday and highly recommend!

Lovely accommodation in beautiful countryside

One of the nicest outside spaces we have had in many many rentals. Clean, well maintained and comfortable. The pool was lovely and the patio area was a delightful place to relax. The surrounding area is beautiful and the drive up from the coast was very easy. The hosts couldn't have been more helpful and we have already booked for next year. Can't wait!
