This cozy 2 bedroom home is located just on the edge of Nelson BC. The home has recently undergone extensive renovations inside and out. With a large open deck with a very nice view of Kootenay Lake. Enjoy your own yard, parking, and comfort, writhin walking distance to great resturaunts, the boat launch. And beautiful Lakeside Park and beach. A great place to spend your downtime when visiting this amazing city and outlying areas.

Just the Basics

Good location but don't expect more than just the basics. Kitchen: chair seats are stained, warped frying pans made it hard to cook properly, small AC unit doesn't cool other rooms; fans helped but need cleaning. L. Room: couch has a rip, armchair feels unclean, curtain won't block hot sun, TV has basic channels. Bedrooms: plastic mattress cover on queen bed makes it very hot during the night. Twin mattresses are very hard. Bathroom: wobbly sink. Deck: chairs are not very comfortable to sit on for long. Our stay was OK as we did a lot of activities in the area, but some more TLC could definitely be put toward a more comfortable stay here.

House was as described. Didn't get check in code until 7pm on check on day. Great location, quiet and peaceful yet so close to town. Lovely spot. Property was surface clean in the places you would for sure go like fridge, floors, bathroom, sheets, counters. In my opinion place needs a deep clean into cupboards and less frequently used dishes, towels were clean but some were stained.

Relaxing

The property is lovely and we saw wild turkeys which we have never seen before. The neighbour across the lane lovely. The only downside was that we had to drive everywhere but that could also be because we are both over 65. A younger crowd would probably walk across the bridge to the beach. All in all it was nice and quiet and had everything we needed. Also the beds were super comfortable.
