The tiny house has a main floor space of 10x28ft=280 sq ft as well as an upstairs loft that has standing room and is another 110sq feet. Upstairs you can enjoy an in-house movie experience with the projector (benQ) that casts onto the loft wall. Downstairs there is also a Bose speaker and mini sub for your audio pleasure. The outdoor covered deck with a BBQ and a comfortable outdoor lounge is private and spacious. There is a small grassy yard that is shared just beyond the deck (I have a raspberry and strawberry patch there). You can sit in the shade under the canopy of trees.
The kitchen has everything you need to make some amazing food. The kitchen is equipped with granite counter tops, a Ninja blender, french press or stove top espresso maker, coffee grinder, popcorn maker and toaster as well as all the good knives and cutting boards you would ever need.
The bathroom has in-floor heating, a lovely rain head shower and a composting toilet that is very user friendly and is odour free. Enjoy an epsom salt bath in the outside bathtub sunken into the deck and enjoy the birds and eagles that call this mountain side home. The mahogany dining table swings out to seat 4 people if you want to have a few friends over for dinner or a visit. The temperature is regulated by a Daikin mini split heat pump. This is both an air conditioner and heater. The driveway is steep and requires 4WD to drive to the doorstep and in the winter months this is a requirement to book. If you have 2WD then don’t fret because from April til November you can park below and walk the 50 feet to the tiny house.

We had had a lovely stay in Anna’s beautiful home. Not too far from town - great dog-friendly beach nearby - home was well-equipped. Would definitely book if we return to the area
We had a lovely stay at the Tiny House! The view was incredible and we loved the outside tub. Anna has thought of everything and the place is stocked with anything you could need. We also really enjoyed the projector, giving it an at home movie theater feeling.
Well situated, easy eaccess to local sights, beautiful view, well-designed user-friendly space. (If you don't have a 4-wheel drive — which I didn't — then be prepared for a very steep walk up the hill to the house.)
Our stay was amazing. The tiny house was absolutely perfect for 2 people. The deck is amazing.we love the tub in the deck so much that we want to put one in our deck at home. So peaceful, so quiet. Loved our stay.
The check-in process was super easy and the tiny house was plenty of space for two people especially with the added space in the bedroom area. It is a nice location away from Nelson so it is quiet and peaceful. It was amazing to always be able to see the lake and the mountain landscape!
Perfect tiny home with a view and an impeccable host
We really enjoyed our mini-vacay and relaxation time. The tiny home is perfectly equipped, and the views are amazing.
Anna's attention to detail and inviting personality shine through in the home's decor and comfortableness.
We had a wonderful time staying at Anna's Tiny House with those amazing view's. It was just what we needed to relax for a few days and unplug from our hectic world. Anna has thought of every type of relaxation practices, ie. books, the deck, the fixtures, robes, oils, and earthy atmosphere. Anna was easy to get a hold of and correspond with us by text. We will return to this beautiful place overlooking Kootenay Lake. We appreciated Anna letting us bring our dog Cedar also. Thanks Mark and Angela.
my son & i have stayed @the tiny house for the past two years for his birthday - it’s now become a tradition in his mind :)
the funny thing is that we don’t have to do anything particularly special while we stay there … it’s just the space, the location & the energy that makes us love it so. neither of us want to leave when it comes time to check out….
(also, anna made this trip particularly special by hiding chocolate eggs for my son, since we were there for easter … & even tho he’s 13, he LOVED finding them in the different nooks & crannies as we unpacked)
last note: i have stayed here with adult friends as well, previously, & found it equally as magical ❤️
Tiny Home is very well built and the views are indeed EPIC. We had a great time here, the place was clean, the kitchen stocked well, the outside living space very well done. One thing to note, I did not notice a description that the driveway is steep and the last part requires 4x4. Not a big deal and perhaps I missed it in the description but it might be a thing for other guests who do not have that type of vehicle. Other than that ... AMAZING!
This tiny house is big on charm and comfort. Anna has thought of everything from the style and design to the use of space and creature comforts. We loved having our coffee cuddled up in the chair and a half overlooking the lake. And the movie projector in the loft bedroom feels like a drive-in movie. A few minutes from Nelson for fun adventures.
This beautiful tiny home was beyond my expectations! Gorgeous view, so clean and well equipped, and Anna the host was so kind! Definitely recommend and we will probably be back!
We were utterly taken with the tiny house, beautifully done and we could easily live there. Fantastic view and the location was great - a short drive to Nelson but also close to Balfour and the ferry or Ainsworth Hot Springs. The highway is close but there is very little traffic after 9 pm or so. The host is friendly, gracious and helpful. HIghly recommend.
the tiny house & anna are both amazing - i miss being there & can’t wait to go back! i’m torn writing this review because i want to keep it a secret ;)

we can’t say enough about how much we loved anna’s tiny house: it’s a wonderful space to ground oneself & absorb positive energy. we can’t wait to go back! the outdoor bathtub & the projector upstairs were particularly special :)
Quiet, Relaxing & private place to stay outside of Nelson! Incredible view to wake up to and A great location to explore the region from. Anna has thought of every little detail. We especially loved watching movies on the projector from the loft bed. We would absolutely stay again!
A lovely spot for a getaway; the view was incredible and such a cute little tiny house. The weather was cold so we couldn't enjoy the cute deck and outdoor tub but would certainly come back in the summer to enjoy. The road was certainly steep and lots of snow but we were warned by the owner, who had the driveway plowed the morning we left (with about 40-50 cm of new snow!).Thank you

I have been calling Nelson my home since 2000 and feel so blessed to be here. In particular I am honoured to live on this little mountain side perch and now offer a tiny house version of my big house to guests from all over. It gives me so much joy to share the beauty of Kootenay Lake and create an unforgettable experience for my guests. I hope I can welcome you soon to my place.
Why they chose this property
This property is situated close to Kokanee Park (2 mins) as well as 15 mins from Nelson. It gives you an opportunity to connect with nature while you enjoy the ever changing sky and view of the lake. I never get bored of gazing upon its beauty. The southern exposure gives you light and sunshine and the resident eagles often are gracing the skies with their cries and soaring wings.
What makes this property unique
Epic View Tiny House was created by me to eventually live in a smaller foot print. Once my 3 teenagers move out I hope to move into the Tiny House and down size my life and my stuff. Then I will be able to offer up my house for bigger groups and people who want a more expansive experience.
