The property "Trulli Elia" is a group of trulli in the countryside just 3 km from the town of Ceglie Messapica, a city rich in history, culture and land of gastronomy
The trulli were restored in 2014 with the utmost care.
The TRULLO GABRIELE is the classic trullo with a central cone and two lateral "alcoves" to which a bathroom with a barrel ceiling has been added
-in the central cone there is a sofa
-in an alcove the sleeping area with a double bed (also convertible into two single beds)
- in the other alcove there is a kitchenette with fridge, induction hob, sink, microwave oven
It has an exclusive gazebo with table and chairs under an ancient olive tree
The swimming pool, solarium, barbecue, parking and 7000 m2 garden.
are shared with the other max 3 guests of the other trullo
The garden is full of fruit trees and olive trees, the swimming pool is surrounded by flower beds of aromatic herbs

Entspannung pur

Der Check-in war - wie der gesamte Aufenthalt - völlig unkompliziert und entspannt. Lucia hatte im Vorfeld einige gute Tipps zu Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants gegeben und letztlich war jeder dieser Tipps ein absoluter Volltreffer. Bei Fragen, Wünschen o.ä. war Lucia bzw. ein Verwandter von ihr auch jederzeit für uns erreichbar. Der Trullo ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man sich in einer Ferienwohnung wünscht. Wohnung, Pool, Außenbereich - alles war sauber und super gepflegt. Die ruhige, phantastische Lage der Wohnung inmitten von alten Oliven- und anderen Bäumen, Highlights wie Pool und BBQ und kurze Wege zu einigen der schönsten Orte Apuliens hat dazu geführt, dass wir uns während unserer 10 Urlaubstage absolut entspannen konnten. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder!

Sehr erholsamer Urlaub

Wir haben unseren Urlaub im Trullo Elia sehr genossen. Die ruhige Lage mit Pool und zahlreichen Sitz- und Ausruhmöglichkeiten laden zum Verweilen ein und schaffen eine Oase der Entspannung. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten befinden sich ca. 5km entfernt in Ceglia Mesapica. Darüber hinaus bietet die Lage Möglichkeiten zu zahlreichen Ausflügen und Strandbesuchen. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Puglia 2020

The Trulli is a perfect getaway location and is set in a very tranquil and peaceful location within an olive grove and Is kept in immaculate condition. Lucia was very easy to deal with and was able to accommodate our changing plans with Covid restrictions changing as our holiday trip approached. We Would recommend This Trulli to anyone who wanted a tranquil base in which to discover the delights of Puglia. Would recommend car hire as the Trulli is quite remote and the nearest town of Ceglie is not easy walked to although only 3km away as it is a busy unlit road. The Property consists of two adjoining Trulli so the pool and common areas are shared. In summary we had a fantastic trip to Puglia and this property offers fantastic facilities and is a great base to explore the region, would visit again.

Could not be better.

The review title sums up our experience: we stayed at Lucia and Pietro's trullo for 6 nights, and the stay could not have been better. The trullo itself is set in the middle of a large olive grove, and has been tastefully modernised, retaining the rustic nature of the building but adding modern conveniences. It was quiet, calm and peaceful, in a beautiful setting, and we spent a lot of our time sitting by the pool relaxing. The nearby town - Ceglie Messapica - has plenty of good restaurants and cafes, and a very good supermarket, and the trullo is a short drive from several beautiful towns. Lucia and Pietro were absolutely perfect hosts - kind, warm, friendly and welcoming, and giving us lots of tips and recommendations for restaurants and days out. We arrived, tired and hungry, on Sunday afternoon having woken early that morning to get our flight from the UK. Lucia immediately offered to cook for us and, while we got settled in the trullo, rustled up a delicious meal of fresh, local pasta. Her generosity was very welcome and she, and Pietro, ensured that we had a perfect stay . We really could not have been happier, and we do not hesitate to recommend Trullo Gabriele to anyone who wants a peaceful holiday in a beautiful part of Southern Italy. Salv and Sue

A Beutiful Trullo in Tranquil countryside

We stayed 12 nights at the Trullo Elia and it was wonderful! Situated only 3km from the hilltop town of Ceglie Messapica the Trullo is nestled amongst olive and walnut trees. Staying in the Trullo is a special experience; the skill and craft that was involved in its unique construction as well as the sense of history of those who lived in the dwelling before now. The Trullo and it’s adjoining structure are surrounded by neatly landscaped low walls and driveway with lots of herbs and other plants growing in the beds. A few steps leads to the lovely pool with sun beds and a hammock beneath a veranda. The pool is perfect for cooling off and the surrounding trees add to the tranquility of the residence. The Trullo itself has everything you need - a kitchen with all the cooking facilities, a neat bathroom with a washing machine, comfortable couch in the main living room and a very comfortable bedroom adjoining. The Trullo contains several old pieces of decorative furniture which adds to the ambiance. Outside the kitchen is a paved and covered patio area where you can dine in the evening to the sound of crickets! Trullo Elia is a true haven to relax and unwind in and also a great base to visit several nearby hill top towns of Cisternino, Ostuni and beyond. Indeed Ceglie, only a few minutes by car, has some lovely restaurants and a delightful main piazza where you can watch the locals gather and socialise in the evening. Our hosts Lucia and Pietro were delightful, willing to help with any queries and we even got a present of a large bag of freshly harvested walnuts before leaving. The Trulli have been a labour of love restoring both properties for Lucia and Pietro and it was our absolute pleasure to stay there and enjoy this special place. We will remember fondly and would recommend this residence to anyone interested in staying in this lovely part of Puglia. Jacinta and Brian

Excellent séjour dans ce paisible et agréable trullo

Trullo avec une situation géographique parfaite dans le cœur des pouilles, la vallée d'itria et sa campagne baignée d'oliviers séculaires, d'arbres fruitiers à perte de vue. Nous avons pu visiter les incontournables, les villages caractéristiques, aller à la plage, nous étions à 3 km du village gastronomique: Ceglie Messapica. Nous avons surtout eu la chance de bénéficier d'un trullo tranquille, avec beaucoup de charme, ou nous avons pu nous reposer et visiter la région sans perdre trop de temps. Les propriétaires lucia et Pietro sont des gens adorables, qui nous offerts une hospitalité et une disponibilité comme on aimerait en avoir plus souvent. Nous conseillerons fortement ce trullo à nos proches qui désirent visiter les pouilles.

Fabuleux

Nous avons loué le Trullo pour 2 personnes. Un site au grand calme en pleine nature d'oliviers, figuiers ...et dans un Trullo rénové avec beaucoup de goût tout en gardant l'authenticité et très bien aménagé. La piscine est un réel plus dans cette région, voire indispensable avec ce soleil. Si les Trulli sont mitoyens chacun a son espace de vie et c'est donc très agréable. L'emplacement est idéal pour visiter la région des Pouilles et particulièrement tous les beaux villages alentours. La mer n'est pas très loin non plus et elle est très belle. Très près on trouve la ville De Ceglie Messapica pour les courses et des soirées très conviviales. Voiture indispensable. Nous recommandons vivement ce havre de paix et de beauté. Merci à Lucia, Lidia et son mari pour leurs disponibilité et efficacité.
