The apartment has been refurbished to a high standard with Scottish touches. The apartment is centrally located, part of the iconic Art Decor building, Lothian House. It boasts panoramic views of the Castle and Arthur's Seat. The apartment is vegan friendly, please ask if you would like more information.

In the heart of Edinburgh, it is a short walk from Princes Street, the Old Town and West End. It is close to the main tourist attractions and Festival venues. It is an ideal apartment for couples, individuals and business travellers.

There are numerous supermarkets, cafes and restaurants on the doorstep. Please note: Edinburgh City Council has introduced a mandatory 5% Tourist Levy. This will apply to bookings made on or after 1 October 2025 for stays starting from 24 July 2026. The levy is charged on the first five nights of any stay and will be collected separately.

Maureen is a superhost! The property was modern, clean and lovely- exactly like you see in the photos. There were quite a few restaurants nearby and was within walking distance of major attractions. Also, the best view of the castle I’ve had so far!

This place is a gem!! So close to down town. Maureen was very accommodating, she met us outside, helped with our bags and showed us around the apartment. The room was clean and beautiful. I would highly recommend staying here!

Amazing location to walk to the Royal Mile (15-20 minutes) and explore the Castle and the old town. Great view of the Castle. Located on a busy road but noise did not keep us up at night. Bakeries/cafes/restaurants/groceries within a block or two. Maureen met us at the apartment and was very helpful with any questions we had. Comfortable bed & bathroom. We enjoyed bringing takeout back for dinner. We would stay here again.

We had an excellent stay at this location. Maureen was such a wonderful host. Communication was easy and timely. She directed us to the nearest carpark and we were able to walk over to meet her for check-in without any problem. The apartment itself had many incredibly thoughtful amenities that made it feel cozy and homey. The location was great -- we were able to walk to so many places in the city or hop on a train. We would absolutely recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Edinburgh.

Maureen is a wonderful host. She was prompt in her communication and extremely helpful. The flat is lovely, clean, well appointed. The bed is comfortable and the view is stunning! I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone who is looking to be close to everything in Edinburgh!

Perfect Location

Best Place in Edinburgh

The unit is amazing and so is the host. The view of the castle is spectacular and the location puts you in walking distance to everything. It is extremely well equipped with appliances, amenities, and extras, showing the host wants her guests to enjoy their stay. Fantastic location to explore Edinburgh!

Maureen the host was amazing and greeted us when we arrived. The location was great, a little off of the main touristy roads but a 10-15 minute walk to everything. Highly recommend booking this place for a couples trip as it’s a great home base for Edinburgh. If you do, be sure to go to Hey Palu (a great cocktail bar right around the corner.

Great Location for Edinburgh and Fringe

Apartment was perfect for 2 people visiting Edinburgh for first time. Location was convenient for easy walk to sight seeing areas and Fringe activities.
