The house has a double bed in the mezzanine. If necessary there is a sofa bed where you can sleep 1 more person.
The kitchen has a hob with 2 plates, a small fridge, microwave, coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster, magic wand, citrus juicer and iron
The toilet has a sink, shower and hairdryer.

Peaceful location

Anabela is very friendly and acts helpful. The communication was prompt, clear and friendly. We felt comfortable in the apartment with its magnificent view. Also we enjoyed the calmness of the little village and the surrounding area, full of specific plants. Actual we were there for the second time and would love to come back! Thank you!

Cosy little holidayhome near to World Heritage Site Sintra

We had a wonderful holiday in this holiday home in tiny little village Penedo, nearby Colares and Sintra. In the house was all we needed for a week stay. The owners live on the same property and were very friendly. We spoke them a few times but they did not force themselves upon us. Lissabon is nearby and reachable by car or train. There are some beautiful beaches and villages nearby with very friendly people.

Lovely little apartment in beautiful location!

This property is kind of remote, but close to Colores and Sintra. Very well maintained, clean and quaint. Has everything you need. We mostly did our own cooking, eating out only if we were out exploring. Great place to get away, and enjoy the Portugal county side. Realize you can not park at door and drop off luggage. We parked up the hill close to an eatery, and walked luggage down. For us not a problem, but if you packed heavy, could be more cumbersome. Thank you Anabela for a wonderful stay and gracious hospitality!!!!

Wir erlebten sehr erholsame Wochen, genossen die Ruhe und das fantastisch milde Klima. Das nette Häuschen liegt in einem hübschen Dorf und ist perfekt als Ausgangslage an die wunderschöne Küste wie auch nach Sintra oder etwas weiter nach Lissabon.

Fantastisk ophold

Rigtig godt lille hus i hjertet af landsbyen med hjælpsom vært lige ved siden af. Privat p-plads tæt på huset. Smalle veje men lidt lettere at komme til fra Almocageme siden, hvis man ikke er vant til bjergkørsel. Fantastisk område fx smuk gåtur i skov til Capucho, spørg evt om vej i caféen. Solnedgang over Atlanten kan anbefales fra hjørnet bag Kapellet. Venlige landsbyboere og alt ialt en super oplevelse.

Rien à redire sur cette location qui correspond bien à l'annonce...seul souci est la route qui mène au village....passage possible d'une seule voiture alors que la route fonctionne dans les deux sens donc faire très attention. Anabela est disponible si besoin

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in diesem gemütlichen Haus sehr genossen. 😃

Da wir im Winter da waren hatte uns Anabela eine elektrische Heizung und einen Entfeuchter ins Appartement gestellt. Dadurch war es schön kuschelig wenn wir abends nach Hause kamen. Morgens haben wir Kaffee und Sonne auf der kleinen Terrasse genossen. Parken an der Kapelle war okay. Dadurch kam man in Kontakt mit freundlichen Dorfbewohnern. Die Umgebung ist einfach wunderschön und bietet extrem viel Abwechslung. Von Sightseeing bis Wandern ist alles möglich. Fazit: Wir hätten gern mehr Zeit gehabt!

Urlaub mit Kind

Für zwei Personen vollkommen ausreichend. Lage für Besuche in Sintra prima nach Lissabon brauchten wir mit dem Auto mindestens 40 Minuten, da die Straßen sehr eng und teilweise steil sind. Lieber vorher einkaufen gehen, da der Supermarkt etwas weiter gelegen ist. Die Kommunikation mit Anabella war in Ordnung , wir haben sie nur 1x bei der Schlüsselübergabe gesehen.

Absolute Delight

This was a great start to my Portugal vacation for first three nights. True authentic experience in country village amongst stone walkways and hills. Loved the view and flowers on the terrace. Appreciated all support of Anabela who advised how to take take train from Lisbon airport to Sintra, where to pick up groceries before Uber to her place. Then she connected me with her friend and I arranged a full day personal tour. Thanks so much!

Sehr ruhig und angenehm. Allerdings etwas außerhalb und nur auf schlecht ausgebauten Straßen zu erreichen. Nettes Cafe um die Ecke mit super Wirt. In der Küche fehlte ein Schneidebrett oder wir konnten es nicht finden. Insgesamt zu empfehlen. :)

Tout était parfait

Tres bel endroit. Le parc naturel de sintra offre pleins de belles balades pour qui n a pas peur de marcher. La maison d anabela et pedro est très belle. Décorée avec goût et très bien équipée. Et ils sont disponibles pour tout conseil. Je reviendrai avec plaisir car il y a beaucoup à voir dans la région. Je conseille vivement.

Wundervolle Woche

Absolut traumhaft die Lage zwischen grüner Berglandschaft und Atlantikblau. Das Apartment ist perfekt für zwei Personen. Anabela ist eine sehr freundliche, aufmerksame, zugewandte und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin. Jeden Morgen von der Hauskatze begrüsst, war jeder Tag ein Erlebnis. Penedo Colares ist als Ausgangspunkt ideal, um den Naturpark Sintra mit seinen vielen Highlights zu erkunden. Der öffentliche Nahverkehr ist klasse. Mit Bus oder Bahn kommt man überall problemlos hin, ob Lissabon, Cabo da Roca oder Strand. Jederzeit kommen wir gerne wieder hierher. Vielen Dank und herzliche Grüße an die Liebe Anabela. We enjoyed every moment.

Nous avons passé 10 jours superbes dans cette petite maison bien équipée. Village très calme, à proximité de beaucoup d’activités touristiques, restaurants, plages .. La propriétaire est très intentionnée, à notre écoute etc. On recommande fortement ce logement et ce coin du Portugal !
