A beautiful and luxurious 72m2 apartment at Laufasvegur 58(we have 2 identical apartments 72fm) with over 70 reviews, 99% 5 star. The apartment comprises of 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms,a large bedroom with a french-balcony into the quiet garden and another bedroom with bed 180x200cm size, a fully equipped kitchen with a stylish dining area and living room, a large sitting room with, (Netflix tv) and a luxurious bathroom. It is ideal for up to 2 couples.

The location is simply perfect: The apartments are in a quiet and charming street (Laufasvegur) that also hosts the German and British embassies and some of Reykjavik most sought after villas, and still you are only a 5 minutes walk from the vibrant city centre. In a lovely neighborhood within the City Center, this quiet and contemporary unit is kept very clean and up-to-date. The check-in process was seamless and the host was a good communicator for all needs before and during our visit. The washer/dryer and small dishwasher were great to have.

Clean, well equipped, and close to everything!

This little apartment had everything we needed for a 10 day stay in Reykjavik. The owner was very responsive to our inquiries and we had no issues whatsoever. Best of all, it was within walking distance of just about everything you could want to see/do in the city, including being a short 5 minute walk from BSI bus terminal, where you're dropped off if you take the Flybus from the airport. I highly recommend these accomodations!!

Pros: communication with our host was excellent both before and during our stay, as was the ability to check in earlier than typically allowed for VRBO stays. Location great for touring the city. Apartment extremely well appointed, nicely decorated with interesting art, and the layout accommodated 2 couples well. Cons: Although location was great, there was much night noise in the backyard and the street, and the airport is very close. Also, having written instructions for the appliances would have been helpful, especially the washer/dryer combination unit.

Great spot!

Jonas is a great host. Very responsive and allowed us a late check out. The apartment is super chic and cozy and cute. It’s a 10 minute walk from a market and the entire downtown area. Very safe and clean location. One bedroom is directly facing the main road so you can hear people talking as they walk past. Nothing too terrible as Icelanders are generally a nice folk. This place rocks. Definitely recommend.

Clean, modern apartment in Reykjavik

We loved the location, 5-15 minute walk from pretty much everything in the city. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. The blackout curtains were great so we were able to make the most of the daylight at night then sleep in! The listing mentions parking, which we took to mean on site reserved, but it was street parking. Most of the time we could park in front of the apartment, but there was one night that we got in very late and had to park a few minutes away. Overall, we would definitely stay here again!

We used this apartment last year and decided to book again. It sits in a beautiful quiet street very close to the centre 5- 10min walk everything was as it was last year VERY clean well maintained, easy access, super comfy beds, we always rent a car on street parking is free and available we have had no problem parking. The owner is an excellent hoist and is always available booking was extremely easy, sadly we are going to Norway next year but when we return to Iceland we would not hesitate to book keep up the good work Jonas and thank you so much

Summer Solstice Visit

Worked well for our family visit to Reykjavik. Beds were comfortable and kitchen had everything we needed including a washer/dryer. Owner was quick to respond to any questions we had. Detailed Instructions were given for location and door access. The location was excellent and within walking distance to shopping, groceries, bars, and restaurants. Free parking is available on the street right outside the front door so loading and unloading luggage was a breeze. The pictures provided at booking were for a different unit in the same building but there were no surprises and everything great! I would do it again when visiting Reykjavik.

Tolle Wohnung in zentraler Lage von Reykjavik

Die Wohnung war wirklich klasse und die Lage ist für einen Stadtbummel ideal. Das Auto kann man stehen lassen und die Innenstadt zu Fuß erkunden. Kostenlose Parkplätze findet man in unmittelbarer Nähe zur Wohnung. Wir haben viel zu Fuß unternommen, aber auch einige Tagesausflüge mit dem Auto unternommen. Wir waren insgesamt 7 Nächte in der Wohnung. Vielen Dank für alles an Jonas!

Quaint apartment several blocks from downtown. Nice location, very quiet. The apartment didn't appear to match the photos in the advertisement. I'm guessing that both apartments are shown. Was really looking forward to the bright orange modern apartment but that's ok. It met the needs of the 4 of us. The bathroom and shower were amazing. Would rent again on a future trip.

AN EXCELLENT APARTMENT

I'm so glad I chose this fabulous apartment in Reykjavik. The owner should give lessons to others on how to make an accommodation comfortable for travelers. It seemed like home, with attention to so many details. I can't find a single fault with anything, and we're very experienced travelers who have been all over the world, staying in all levels of accommodations. We stayed here after having just spent 3 weeks in a motorhome, touring all over Iceland. It was great to have such a spacious and well-done bathroom with an excellent shower. The washer (in kitchen) was very much utilized by us. It was easy enough for me to figure out, even though the words were in Danish. In the kitchen, you will find every convenience, although we ate all meals at restaurants except breakfast. The furniture in each room was very comfortable. All the windows had good shades for as much light as you wish to have come into the rooms. Lastly, the wifi was excellent. You can't go wrong choosing this apartment!

Great Location in Quiet Neighborhood

Very comfortable property. You don't need a car since it is within easy walking distance to many great restaurants and shops. It is easy to get to the tour buses since it is only an eight minute walk to the Hallgrimskirkja (Bus stop #8) and five minutes to the Bus Terminal from the airport.

Luxuswohnung nein, sehr schöne Wohnung ja

1. Wohnung bestätigt am 27.08.2021 noch für 149,50 € je Tag, heute Mitte Juni 2022 schon 335 € je Tag, also völlig überteuert! 2. Sauberkeit: ok, aber nicht zu genau überall hinsehen (wie Dunstabzuhaube in der Küche oder den Herd)! 3. Küchenutensilien: kein Sieb für Spaghetti, 2 Messer (Ikea) mit gebrochenem Griff, keine Ablage für eigene Lebensmittel. 4. Im Bad keine Ablagemöglichkeiten und keine Haken zum Aufhänden von Waschlappen, Handtüchern usw. 5. Lage: sehr gut in die Stadt und zur Halgrimskirka oder in den Park, alles fußläufig zu erreichen. 6. Bekam 4 Tage vor Anreise ein angebliches Upgrade in der Nähe, ganz ohne Begründung. Wurde fast agressiv bedrängt, dieses anzunehmen, obwohl ich auf meiner ursprünglichen Buchung bestand.

Delightful flat in great location

We really enjoyed this chic condo. The location was within walking distance to many restaurants and attractions, and easily accessible to the main highways that lead to the natural wonders that are uniquely Iceland.
