Pretty house located in the pine forest of Grière, on a large wooded lot set back from the street. Large living room with fireplace and beautiful Vendean furniture, directly overlooking a large terrace facing south. The kitchen (East facing) has been recently renovated and is equipped with a refrigerator, a new dishwasher and an oven (stove and electric oven new). The four bedrooms are each equipped with a bathroom and direct access to the garden. The house has two showers, one in a newly redone separate shower room and the other in one of the bedrooms. It also has two toilets. Parking possible inside the property.

Wundervolle Familienferien in tollem Haus am Strand

Wir haben 14 wundervolle Tage in diesem charmanten Haus verbracht. Wir Erwachsenen und auch unsere Kinder (12,15 und 17 Jahre alt) haben sich dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist schön gross und hat einen tollen Garten. Die Bäume im Garten haben angenehmen Schatten gespendet, so dass man auf der Terrasse viele Stunden verbringen konnten. Der Strand ist nur 2 Gehminuten entfernt. Sowohl La Tranche sur mer centre als auch La Griere centre kann man gut zu Fuss (über den Strand oder durch Wohnviertel) erreichen. Der Vermieter des Hauses ist stets erreichbar gewesen und bietet einen ausgezeichneten Service. Wir werden gerne wieder dort unsere Ferien verbringen.

La maison est ancienne mais parfaitement équipée. Sa situation géographique est idéale. Dommage qu'il n'y est pas de robinet exterieur, pour le rinçage bref des chiens ou des équipements de plage et des pieds. Le seul point noir serait la terrasse qui est un peu dangereuse.

A very pleasant stay in a delightful location

The house is clean and well-presented, surrounded by pine trees, with woodpeckers, pigeons, squirrels etc to be seen - it's very peaceful overall. It is generally well-furnished. The only improvement to be suggested is perhaps deeper mattresses in the large beds. There is no air-conditioning, but in fairness, the only time we genuinely felt hot were days where the temperature reached 37C outside, which was due to an unexpected heatwave. All the kitchen appliances and utensils work well and it is well equipped; the shower and bathroom are clean and functional also. On the one day we had rain [out of two weeks!] it was useful to have TV and Wi-Fi for both the kids and ourselves. Both worked fine. The house is easy to find and is not immediately in the town centre, but this is only a 25-30 minutes walk at a leisurely pace. It is very close to the beach [5 minutes walking]. It is centrally located from Nantes, La Rochelle, Les Sables D'Olonne and Puy Du Fou. The owner of the house is very helpful and we felt very well looked-after; we had some small teething issues with regard to local services and the help we received was excellent. The level of communication was second to none. I have no complaints about this property and would return in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to other people.
