Our beautiful country cottage is on the banks of the Scaur River, where you can relax, enjoy a sauna or hot tub and retreat from the hustle bustle of everyday life. There are endless walks in all directions from Penpont, by going to the end of the garden you can wander into the hills without seeing a soul, enjoying peace and tranquillity.

Further afield there are many attractions to enjoy in unspoilt Dumfries & Galloway.

Lovely

We enjoyed our one night stay at this property. Lovely clean, homely and spacious with all we needed. Very lovely helpful host when the electricity went in the evening and all sorted quickly. The area is beautiful. Only problem no parking on site and we expected the village through road immediately outside to be less dangerous while we transported our stuff from a quick stop opposite.
