Giulino's house TREMEZZINA Lake Como

Giulino's house is a typical village house located in a very quiet historical center in the heart of TREMEZZINA.
The house has belonged to my family for at least a hundred years!
On the ground floor are the kitchen and a large living room. On the first floor a double bedroom with a small balcony overlooking the lake, a bathroom with shower and on the second floor a double bedroom and an extra bed. The floors are connected by stairs of 10 steps
A cot and a high chair are available.
A patio in front of the house allows guests to relax reading a book or having breakfast or lunch!
Air conditioning is installed on the ground floor and in the main bedroom on the second floor.

As I said, the location is in the beautiful TREMEZZINA, the splendid lake coast!
The house is located in the middle of the Greenway of Lake Como, the 9 km route from Colonno along the lake or on the hill, through ancient villages and prestigious villas such as Villa Carlotta and Villa Balbianello.
The village offers everything a guest needs: a baker, two restaurants, a minimarket, a post office and local bars and a takeaway pizzeria ...
Everything within walking distance.
From the neighboring countries that can be reached on foot in a short time, it is possible to take boats to reach and visit Bellagio, Varenna and Como.

Perfection on the lake

If one were to rate this property only on the location, cleanliness, amenities and ambiance a 5 star rating is not enough. Close to everything but in a quiet and picturesque neighborhood. There is quite literally nothing the host has not thought of to make your stay perfect. Now if you include the kindness and responsiveness of Caterina the rating goes at least to 10! We have been renting cottages for almost 18 years and have never met such a kind and considerate person. We not only gained a wonderful vacation, we gained a friend.

Tom and Jane have became friends from the first moment we met at the parking space! I felt as if I knew them for long time! Very very kind, They have been wonderful guests, communication was excellent and I have appreciated the respect they showed towards the house! Left everything nice and tidy . I must say I have been very lucky to have Tom and Jane guests in my old family house and I am honored to have met such wonderful people!

Ein traumhaftes Ferienhaus mit Herz und Geschichte

Wir hatten das Vergnügen, unseren Urlaub in einem wunderschönen Ferienhaus zu verbringen, das sich als ein wahres Juwel entpuppte. Dieses 100 Jahre alte Haus, das gleichzeitig das Geburtshaus der Gastgeberin ist, strahlt einen unvergleichlichen Charme aus und ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Alles, was man für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt benötigt, ist vorhanden. Von der voll ausgestatteten Küche bis hin zu gemütlichen Schlafräumen – es mangelt an nichts. Caterina war äußerst zuvorkommend und hat uns den genauen Standort des Hauses mitgeteilt, bevor sie uns persönlich am Parkplatz empfangen hat. Der Kontakt zu Caterina war durchweg hervorragend. Sie war jederzeit erreichbar und hat regelmäßig nachgefragt, ob wir etwas benötigen. Besonders aufmerksam war die Bereitstellung einer Grundausstattung an Lebensmitteln, was unser Ankommen noch angenehmer gemacht hat. Unser Urlaub war einfach wunderbar und wir waren rundum zufrieden. Dieses Ferienhaus können wir uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Es ist der perfekte Ort für eine erholsame Auszeit.

Ein Geheimtipp

Dieses Haus ist ein liebevoll restaurierter Familienbesitz in schönster, ruhiger Umgebung. Wir haben noch nie eine Ferienunterkunft gehabt, wo die Gastgeberin mit so viel Liebe an das kleinste Detail gedacht hat, damit der Gast sich wie zuhause fühlt. Es mangelte an nichts, selbst für den großen Hunger und Durst nach der Ankunft war schon mit ausgesuchten Vorräten im Kühlschrank und im Vorratsschrank vorgesorgt!!! Caterina ist eine wundervolle Gastgeberin, offen, stets freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit, der wir tausendmal Dankeschön sagen möchten. Respekt für Ihre Passion, alten Besitz in romantischer und historisch interessanter Umgebung zu neuem Leben zu erwecken! Wir geben diesen Geheimtipp fast ungern weiter, wir wünschen nur, dass alle nach uns solch ein Kleinod zu schätzen wissen.

charmante maison authentique et bien équipée

Maison de village très agréable, au calme, joliment décorée et très équipée. Le charme de l'ancien avec tout le confort (bonne literie, clim, sanitaires récents, lave vaisselle, lave linge etc.). L'espace devant la maison est suffisamment en retrait de la petite ruelle pavée (oû quasiment jamais personne ne passe) pour y prendre ses repas en toute tranquillité. Enfin l'accueil est exceptionnel de gentillesse toutes les attentions sont là pour se sentir chez soi. Parfait pour visiter la region du lac de Come sans jamais utiliser la voiture à condition d'être en relativement bonne forme (pour graviir les escaliers de la maison ou les ruelles assez raides). Nous recommandons vivement et espérons revenir !
