Our beautiful Lake Front home has an amazing view of Lake Harmony. It is also close to restaurants, beach areas, Big Boulder, Jack Frost, nightlife, H2OOoohh Waterpark, nature trails, Pocono Raceway, and much more. You’ll love my place because it is close to all of the local attractions and it has been newly renovated with all the modern amenities. Your vacation options are unlimited: relax in the clawfoot tub, sit by the fire after a long day on the slopes or simply walk along the shores of Lake Harmony.

Nice location

The house was well maintained and the owners were very responsive. Only struggle was no air conditioning and limited access to the lake.

Great Lake house with lots of charm & close to everything! We loved it!

Great charming lake cottage with lots of room for everyone. We totally enjoyed our stay and stayed warm and cozy. Kids loved staying in the "Bear Room". We played games at night at the long table. The place was clean and had everything we needed. We arrived to a nice note which had the information we needed for our stay. Charming lake house. Great location! Fun memories made.

Great location and cute decor!

The space is well decorated and was large enough for us! We did have an issue with the upstairs sink, but someone was able to come out and take a look at it the following day. We enjoyed the location and was able to walk to the nearby restaurants and bars. The outdoor space with the propane firepit was so nice! Thank you so much for sharing your home!

My family and I stayed for Easter Weekend the house was more than we expected the home was beautiful well kept and extremely clean the house smell like new sometimes in these homes it smells musty and the homes are not that clean but this one was exceptional. All hats to the housekeepers of this home. There was 13 of us we all were comfortable and slept well the kitchen had everything only thing is you may need to take bigger pots if you plan on cooking for a bigger crowd. The owner was on point with every question asked. There is no grill because of the bears but we had a portable which we kept inside. Thank You to the owner well done.

Roots End review

Very roomy. Great location. Would have enoyed fire pit, but unable to get it to work. No water hookup to refig, and no ice cube trays....so unable to have ice. Overall enjoyed our stay.

Short vacation

Staying at home was ok, but what happened after the holidays is another story. We were accused of causing damage to the house. .We are not smokers but We were accused of burning a hole in the bathroom shelf. After long discussions with the owner who didn't even listen to our explanations he He gave up. A very unpleasant feeling.

First time in Lake Harmony!

From the moment we stepped foot in Roots End we knew it was going to be a great week! We enjoyed every part of the house especially the back yard. We spent many nights by the campfire, we saw a lot of wild life... a skunk, many deer and even a couple baby deer! On the last day we saw a bear, which was an amazing way to end the week! (Except for my husband who has to clean up the trash after the bear was done). Tonya was very quick to answer any questions or concerns we had. We will definitely be renting again!

Not just a house but a home.

We were looking for a place for a birthday getaway weekend. My family came here and we were pleasantly surprised. The layout of the bedrooms worked out great. We couldn’t figure out how to work the cable but had a better time playing the board games that were stocked in the house. We would definitely love to rent this home again.

Beautiful home, great memories, and fabulous location

When you think of a cottage by the lake, Roots End is it. The home is so quaint and well maintained that I felt like I was visiting family. The kitchen is fully stocked to enjoy a family dinner, and has plenty of games for a fun night in too. The cottage is located close to everything you would want to do while staying around Lake Harmony which made it so easy to have a new adventure everyday. We went hiking, paddle boarding, and enjoyed a day at the water park. Our vacation at Roots End was another amazing vacation together!

Great place!

Roots End was lovely and accommodated our large group perfectly! It was right in the heart of Lake Harmony just minutes to the slopes and restaurants. Tonya was friendly and very responsive for any questions we had. We were 10 in total, 4 adults and 6 children. The home was very clean & so charming with numerous updates to the decor, appointments, kitchen & baths. The large kitchen had new appliances and loads of utensils, plates, glasses, pots & pans. We enjoyed meals and activities at the long dining room table with seating for 12. The TV and adjoining fireplace area we're comfortable and cozy. We had fun playing the many fun games provided. The large front porch was the perfect storage area for all our ski equipment. Everything was truly great! We're looking forward to booking Roots End again!
