About this property

Self catering Mas Palleu for 7 people

Mas Palleu has more than two centuries of history and it's located in Sant Miquel de Sacot, in the municipality of Santa Pau.
Situated in the middle of Jordà's beech wood forest, the most protected zone of Garrotxa Volcanic Area Natural Park, you can enjoy peace and tranquillity, be in contact with farm animals and enjoy nice sights that the surroundings offer.

From 1990 onwards major renovations have occurred, resulting in a lot of improvements having been made. Rural life can be glimpsed from each corner of the cottage.
Different farm animals live on the property: hens in the hen run, next to the vacation cottage, ducks running on the hill, chickens, rabbits,... and, the cat and Mona, a friendly dog.

The house, on top of the hill and surrounded by the beech wood forest is a fantastic place if you want to switch off and walk, go by bike,... and breathe fresh air, far from big cities' pollution.
The cottage was built in 1928 and totally refurbished in 2007. It is a fully-equipped house with capacity for 6-7 people.
Beautiful views can be seen from the house's large windows, including Puig of Jordà's Volcano as well as cultivated fields and the beech wood forest.

Wonderful retreat in the forest

We had a lovely stay and would certainly return. Everything was better than described and the host super helpful and attentive. The pool was amazing and the location perfect, great to be able to escape the heat. Walks in the forest were wonderful and the views from the living rooms fantastic.

A very rural location away from any noise, mountains views all to yourself. Small secluded swimming pool and BBQ.the house is well equiped ,rooms are a little cramped.There are small cinder volcanoes dotted around the nearby forest tracks to explore and nearby medieval villages.

Wir waren das zweite mal Gast in diesem Haus. Auch diese Mal wurden wir ausgesprochen herzlich begrüßt und betreut, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Wir wurden mit frischen Pilzen, frischen Eiern von eigenen Hühnern, und Esskastanien versorgt. Der Pool bot uns Erfrischung und die Liegewiese lud zum Sonnenbaden ein. Die Räumlichkeiten wie gewohnt Tip-Top sauber, und gut ausgestattet. vielen Dank für die schöne Woche, wir kommen wieder

Tranquillité assurée et paysage magnifique

Mooi, ruim en karakteristiek huis met een geweldig uitzicht

Heerlijk rustige omgeving met een fenomenaal uitzicht. Het huis is netjes en ruim, slaapkamers beneden, woonkamer boven. Moderne keuken met alle voorzieningen. Zwembad is erg fijn, direct achter het huis, het lijkt kleiner op de foto's dan het is (ca. 5x10m schat ik). Enige puntjes: - De weg er naartoe is deels een onverhard bosweggetje, dat is even spannend de eerste keer. - Er is maar één twee/driezitsbank, voor de rest alleen eetkamerstoelen. Dat is met meerdere mensen wel behelpen af en toe Het is in het bos, dus insecten genoeg....

Que buen viaje

Un ambiente muy cómodo ofrece la casita de Roser que está situada directamente en los alrededores de la Garrotxa. Bien para hacer el senderismo, para relajarse o solamente estar con o en la naturaleza. Roser y su marido nos ha ofrecido toda la ayuda que necesitamos y nos gustaría volver :) en total un viaje de 5 estrellas! :)

La ubicació és immillorable, al cor de la Fageda d'en Jordà, un dels boscos més bonics de Catalunya. És un bon punt per explorar els entorns (la zona volcànica, Olot, Santa Pau, etc.). La casa és tranquil·la, molt acollidora i amb magnífiques vistes. Està neta i molt ben equipada (hi ha de tot), estris en molt bones condicions, llits còmodes. La propietària, Roser, és estupenda, molt amable, procurant que no ens faltés de res, i sempre disponible però sense ser intrusiva. Hi hem passat uns dies en família i hem estat molt a gust. Hi volem tornar!

Traumhafte Lage, schönes Anwesen

Wir haben eine schöne Woche verlebt. Nach einer kurzen Fahrt durch den Wald erreicht man das Haus, es liegt etwas versteckt an einem Hang. Ruhiger geht es nicht mehr. Aus dem Wohnzimmer hat man, durch bodentiefe Fenster, einen traumhaften Ausblick über ein Tal auf den nächsten Berg. Das Haus ist voll ausgestattet, modern und sauber. Außen gibt es einen überdachten Grillplatz den man auch bei nicht so gutem Wetter nutzen kann. Hinter dem Haus einsteht gerade ein Pool mit Terrasse. Alles in allem ein idealer Platz zum erholen und ausspannen. Die Gastgeber sind superfreundlich und hilfsbereit aber zu keinem Augenblick aufdringlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder! Un fin de semana del Pilar magnifico

Estuvimos muy bien en Can Palleu, en la "fageda de´n Jordà". Un sitio precioso, tranquilo en plena naturaleza y, al mismo tiempo, muy cerca de Olot. La casa muy bien, limpia, con chimenea, unas vistas magníficas y bien acondicionada. Roser nos atendió muy bien y nos explicó cosas que le preguntamos. Nos facilitó todo lo que le pedimos. Muy simpática y muy cariñosa. Unos dias magníficos. seguro que repetiremos.

Privilegiada!!!

Hemos pasado 3 dias en la casa y recomiendo su estancia sin duda. Cuenta con una ubicación privilegiada en medio de la “fageda d’en jordà”, desde alli mismo empiezan muchas rutas a pie y cómoda para visitar olot y sus alrededores. La casa cuenta con todo lo necesario , incluso leña para la chimenea y carbón para utilizar su barbacoa ... camas cómodas y muy limpia. Vistas expectaculares desde el comedor. La hospitalidad de Roser es immejorable, acompaño a nuestras hijas al corral a recoger huevos y dar de comer a los conejos. Con ganas de volver!

Hemos pasado 4 dias en familia(2 adultos, un niño, un bebe de 3 meses y un perro) en una magnífica casa y en un entorno fantástico. Situada en plena naturaleza, silencio, paz y buenas rutas para pasear. La propietaria Roser y su marido son geniales, muy majos, un trato exquisito y pendientes de si necesitabamos algo. Un 10 en todo. Nos hemos quedado con ganas de más asi que esperamos volver algun dia. Gracias por todo. Hasta otra familia!!!!
