The views are incredible, the cabin is cozy, the pool table and hot tub are fun! The home is equipped with everything you need to have a relaxing getaway. This is our 2nd visit and we will definitely be back.
The cabin was exactly as described and it was lovely. The view was amazing! There was an issue with the hot tub but maintenance resolved the issue quickly. The pool table was a great bonus too!
Our stay at Little Bear was very enjoyable. The cabin was clean and we enjoyed all the amenities (pool table, hot tub, swimming pool). We love the fact that we were away from the hustle and bustle of Gatlinburg but was close enough to drive into town and enjoy it. Will definitely rent again. Thank you for a much needed break.
The cabin was perfect size for 2 people. We enjoyed having a hot tub with a view of the mountains.
One complaint would be that we were only given 2 bath towels to be used for the entire weekend and for the hot tub.

Thank you for the great feedback. We can’t wait to see you again!
We loved the amenities. The cabin was very nice! We liked how open it was. Loved all the windows. Anywhere I was sitting or standing I was able to look outside. That’s exactly what we wanted in a cabin.
The only fact we didn’t like is that we couldn’t bring our family to enjoy this great time we had.

Process for the door code needs alot of work!
The check-in process with the door code was awful. First time I have ever worked with a company and not an individual. I had to call and call while I was driving to get the code to the door with barely any service in the mountains. On the other hand the house was awesome! The view from the bed with the sky lights and windows is something to go to bed to and wake-up to!!
The cabin was decorated so beautifully. Everything was clean. We loved the hot tub after a long day of hiking! However, I had never booked through a company before, always with a individual. I wish it had been disclosed in the listing you would have to sign a rental agreement and send a photo of yourself. I was not prepared for that process and ended up having to contact them to get the rental agreement. The upstairs TV did not work for us and when I texted the company they gave me a generic response. Overall, the cabin was great but I felt more like a number to them. I would rather book with an individual.
The weekend was great overall however the cabin has a few inconveniences.
the backdoor does not lock as designed.
One of the upstairs window does not lock.
Hot water heater does not supply enough water to fill the “jacuzzi tub” in the master bath.
The hot tub needs to have more chlorine added to clean the water. smells like an old bucked of stale water. however it did maintain a constant temperature of 104.

Cabin - not for us
We are older and some of the cabin's design features did not work well for us. We love Gatlinburg and have stayed in 8 different cabins. Of course, there are our favorites, but, the Nob is where we started and thought based on the photos we were good to go. Although the cabin is very beautifully decorated, quiet most of the time, the spiral stairs were very narrow and difficult to climb or come down with bags or anything in you hands. The hot tub pictured on the sight was much smaller than I anticipated and had no step to assist with getting in. I have FSH muscular dystrophy and so there are limitations to lifting my limbs. However, if there were a step to get in and out its not an issue. Went to use the grill under the nice cover deck and there was no gas. My husband improvised and pan fried our steaks. The temperature in the cabin was easily maintained and adjusted quickly. Stocked with lots of utensils and household needs. We had some noisy neighbors, but, I believe other cabin tenants in the area addressed that need. Bed slept well and comfortable. It is a nice cabin but, like I said, just not for us.

Wanda, thank you staying with us and for taking the time to review our property. Your input, as well as all our guest feedback is vitally important as we want all guests expectations to be met upon arrival. We apologies for falling short of expectations. We appreciate your comments as they allow us to continue to improve upon our guest experience. We will make sure the grill has gas. Again, thank you for sharing.
If you like antique items and something that is a little different from most cabins I highly suggest staying here. It's so neat and adorable. I would stay again!
I was unable to check in when I arrived bc I was never given code to get in & my host wasnt availabl
It was not a good one I missed the whole firtst 24-36 hours of my 3 day trip and didn’t even get into a hotel room that I had to pay for until 6 am in the morning. Ruined my whole trip
Not many channels on TV but that's ok ! Didn't like that the shower was in basement! But nice property! Curvy road !!

Vacant at best
Property definitely seemed like it hasn't been used in several weeks or months. Not very clean, dust cobb webs, and dead insects. Shower downstairs isn't very functional, you can't even turn the shower head on unless you get inside and shut door and stand in the cold water til it warms up, it sprays outside of the shower. Glad we didn't stay longer than 2 days. We had 2 bath towels total. And bring everything you need because you get a soap bar and thats it. We had came to get away to rest and relax. Tv provider had a total of maybe 10 channels available with no guide at the cabin. So you just flip the channels til you maybe find something that is available. It is serviced by Jackson Homes. I think the owner of the cabin needs to check in with them. I hope for their sake they don't pay them much for maintaining the property. Hot tub is nice though only 5 star item I can agree on here.
We really enjoyed our time here. The cabin is beautiful and in an amazing location! Great communication with the property owners, really easy to check in and out. We will be coming back.

We're delighted to hear you enjoyed your stay at Little Bear, Michelle, and we'll be looking forward to seeing you next time!
The property was beautiful and as described in listings. The road to get up to it are very winding and scary. The property is 30 minutes from downtown Gaitlinberg and farther from pigeon forge. It is older and needs some maintenance.
