New Valley is a crofting township on the outskirts of Stornoway. Far enough to be in the Hebridean countryside, but near enough to enjoy all the entertainment Stornoway has to offer.
If you would like to enjoy the most spectacular Hebridean land and seascapes, wander on pristine white sandy beaches, yet be able to go into town, relax, enjoy that glass of wine, sample our restaurants, or have a few ‘Drams’ with the locals? That’s what we offer!
Stornoway, the main town in the island chain, is just a few minutes drive (bus journey) away. Whilst the rest of Lewis, Bernera, the Isles of Harris and Scalpay, are waiting to be explored. All are land bridged, stunningly beautiful and unique in their own way. You can even take a day trip to St.Kilda, an island truly on the edge.
As your Hosts also run a local tour and taxi company, so you will never be stuck for a cab, or for directions to some of the hidden gems our islands have to offer.
