House in the clouds!

Beautiful location away from the city. Quiet, secluded, relaxing stay. Lovely sun terrace with loungers and bbq area. Nice swimming pool. Stunning views to the coast. A short walk to a local bar/café and a short drive to the nearest town with restaurants, butchers & supermarket. The nearest beach with a bar & restaurant, Praia de Adrago, is a 10 minute drive away, and is stunning. Jane, the host, is a lovely lady who is super helpful and makes you feel very welcome. We enjoyed every minute.

Spectacular house in the hills

We had the most wonderful stay at Casa nas Nuvens. The views are amazing as it is literally in the clouds, the sea and sunsets to the west and Pena Palace to the east. We rented all the spaces, the upper and lower houses and the studio, which was perfect for 2 families, everyone had their own spaces and plenty of room in the communal areas like the massive pool terrace with several tables for alfresco dining. Lovely beaches are all around10min drive, and Jane provided a comprehensive booklet of information about the surrounding villages, restaurants, markets etc. The upper/main kitchen is extremely well-stocked. Jane was super helpful throughout. Its a very special place and i would highly recommend it.

Prachtig huis en tuin. Appartement vraagt een update.

Heerlijk verblijf. Huis op berg leg prachtige tuin. Via moeilijke smalle weg bereikbaar. Appartement is wat gedateerd en vraagt hier daar een update. Met name de bedden voor ons niet een voldoende. Ook de buitenzitjes charmant maar Spartaans.

Vochtig en versleten onderkomen

Op zich een leuke locatie echter de woning is erg vochtig er staan een 2 tal vochtvreters die beide om de 5 uur geleegd moeten worden, je kleren ruiken na een aantal dagen naar vocht. een erg beperkte keuken en voor mij 1.93 lengte een 10 cm te laag plafond in de badkamer, daarmee zitten in bad douchen. Jane is vriendelijk, echter is de woning onder de maat. De weg is echt erg smal maar wel berijdbaar

beatifull place, amazing surounding, all green, great view, so so beatifull... this place is meant to enjoy all the nature and suroundings, unstead of the lower apartment, that has not all the conditions...it is old, and not so good, but perfect for the outside!! Amazing view and garden, with beatifull pool! And a nice landlord Jane:) thats lives in that beatifull place!

Rustic getaway in the heavenly clouds of Sintra

I love Jane's house. The views are breathtaking and the location unique. We enjoyed the lovely landscaping and the beautiful pool and terrace. The BBQ works well. The house is well worn but very special, with a good kitchen and all necessary amenities.
