Location Location Location

Not the most glamorous property, the shower is a bit of an adventure, but we loved it. It was as described and even better than described as far as location. It’s close to everything, bakeries, restaurants, attractions, bus stops, everything. And it’s on a quiet side street, yet still in the heart of Rome! We would stay here again. If your looking for 5 start luxury, maybe it’s not for you, but if you want an authentic Roman experience and to be near everything, go for it.

Bed bugs

This property is in a great location and the internet works well. The floors have seen better days, large gaps between floorboards (son sliced is toe). The couch was disgusting, there is a reason red blankest we’re covering it. The shower/tub was gross and a hazard to turn around in. We had an extremely hard time getting hot water to the shower. We were told to run the kitchen sink hot water for several minutes. Then we could run the shower and should have hot water! It worked one time! My son and wife woke up with bits on them. We ended up finding bedbugs! Do not stay here until a major renovation is done! I will say the owner was polite and responsive during the entire process.

Family time in Rome

The apartment worked well for our family with a room for each couple and space to spread out. The A/C in the living room was ok, but the bedrooms worked great. We enjoyed the location of the apartment as it was close to the river and walkable to several sites. We would have liked a little more of a view out the windows as you look primarily at the building next to you but it was still very comfortable and clean. We had no issues with the kitchen or bathroom. Also, Lorenzo and the host were very communicative up to and through our time in Rome.

Our Rome vacation

Well let me tell ya. STAY away. This apartment needs to be taken off the market until it can be cleaned properly. We thought that when we came in that it was a great location. It is extremely close to everything. However, it went down hill from there. We walked into the bathroom, by the way only 1 bathroom for a 2 bdrm. The tub was horrendous. It was peeling and every time one would take a shower, the floor would get soaked. In 1 of bdrms, we couldn’t use the closets for anything because there was mold growing in there. We also pretty quickly found out the apartment had bedbugs. My daughter that was sleeping on the couch and woke up covered in bites but we thought it was mosquito bites. So we changed beds. She slept on the pullout sofa. However, the next day she was literally covered in bites. This is when we knew for sure that they were bedbug bites
