Family house winemaker Loizo

In the heart of the village of Assas, our family winemakers house, built in 1920, is located on the famous terroir of Pic St Loup wines. You can enjoy the charm and authenticity of a typical and unspoilt southern village with all its small shops just two minutes walk. You will be just minutes from the tramway to Montpellier city center, and 30 minutes from the beaches. Under a hundred-year-old lime tree, you can indulge in the delights of lazing by the pool with its summer kitchen. We have preserved the charm of yesteryear of the house with its original cement tiles integrating discreetly comfort and modernity. The air conditioning will allow you to spend sweet and cool nights.
We will be at your disposal to advise you at best, we can also offer you experiences that will allow you to discover our beautiful region differently than through tour guides.
Ideally located, the house is 30 minutes from the beaches, but also 10 minutes from a lake (Lake Cécélés) with its tavern, a river: the Hérault (20min) ideal for kayaking, not to mention the mountains : Pic St Loup is 15min, where you can practice hiking or learn hang gliding, the Cévennes massif is a little further to 40min. On the village, many paths, pacing the scrubland, allow you to do running or mountain biking, manade and equestrian center are nearby.
The cooperative cellar regularly offers tastings and theme nights.

Perfect holiday in Assas

Maison Loizo is absolutely beautiful! Tasteful and aesthetically restored. There is no need to leave the outside area with pool and kitchen at all ;) Elderly guests should notice that you will probably take the outside staircase many times a day. Our hosts were super friendly and helpful. Our very best recommendations for this place!

Nous avons pu apprécié cette maison restée dans sa décoration d'origine mais avec le confort d'aujourd'hui = climatisation et piscine . Trés bon accueil avec un propriétaire l'écoute et de bons conseils pour les visites. Beaucoup d'activités alentours pour toutes générations !

Jolie maison ancienne décorée avec goût. Le village d'Assas est très authentique tout étant proche de Montpellier. Petite piscine mais largement suffisante et joliment aménagée. Les propriétaires sont très disponibles et accueillants. Nous recommandons et y retournerons avec plaisir
