This traditional cottage rests in the village of Sneaton near Whitby and can sleep four people in two bedrooms.
Raygill Cottage is a single-storey, stone-built dwelling located in the village of Sneaton, North Yorkshire. It boasts two bedrooms; a double and a twin, sleeping four altogether. There is also a shower room, kitchen and a living/dining room with electric fire. Outside is off-road parking for one car and a rear enclosed courtyard garden with furniture. Raygill Cottage provides lovely accommodation to return to at the end of each day.
Amenities: Electric heating with electric fire. Electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine. TV with Freeview, DVD, WiFi, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair available on request. parking for 1 car in a lay-by next to the property. Rear enclosed courtyard garden with furniture. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 1 mile. Pub 0.4 miles. Whitby 2.5 miles. Note: There are 3 steps up to the bedrooms. Please note: the cottage sits by a B road running through Sneaton village; traffic noise may be heard from the front of the cottage during busy times but the bedrooms are at the back.
Region: The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.
Town: The rural village of Sneaton lies close to Whitby, and within driving distance of Scarborough, in North Yorkshire. There are some wonderful walks in the area, including the notable Monks Trod, which leads down to Whitby. This fishing port has cobbled streets and alleys, beaches, restaurants and an array of cafes as well as its 199 steps to the abbey.
