Triana Terrace. 1-bedroom, roof-top terrace

One-bedroom apartment with a private roof terrace, located in the traditional Triana quarter. The terrace provides wonderful views of the Maestranza Theatre, Golden tower and Giralda. All main monuments and sights are within walking distance.

The living area features a dining table with chairs, sofa and TV. Adjacent, with a separate entrance, is the well equipped kitchen - which on the side of the living area features a breakfast bar and bar stools.

Beyond the kitchen is the bathroom with shower and the bedroom with double bed (140 x 200cm), wardrobe and a window facing a quiet patio.

The access to the private roof-terrace is from the communal staircase of the building (NOT from the apartment itself). Terrace equipped with outdoor seating, two deck chairs and a canopy for the hot summer days. The terrace has partial views of the Maestranza Theatre and the Giralda tower.

The apartment is located by the picturesque calle Betis, an ideal spot for sightseeing with wonderful river views.

The Triana quarter is popular both by day and night, with bars and many traditional restaurants. All of the major monuments are within walking distance. The city centre is a 10 minute walk away, just across the Triana bridge.

It's in a fabulous location (and a famous street), yet it's easy to close the windows and enjoy the quiet. The terrace is wonderful.

Kind of mixed feelings on the rating for cleanliness and value for money: while superficially clean, the apartment had scuffed up dirty hallway walls, floor needed more attention at the sides and corners and edpecially under bar area. Two corkscrews- one broken, other doesnt work. No linens for sofabed. Couldnt find more than 1 kitchen towel, only two mismatched coffee mugs, only two red wine glasses, mismatched and one with broken bottom. Construction happening in next building with drilling and hammering starting at 815. Kitchen table chair loose/bent leg- heavier person sitting will surely break it and fall. Sofa covering old and shabby - perhaps even replace sofa its not very pleasant. Most other places provide translated instruction/maps. Very convenient location but beware front street can be noisy from people heading home from bars down the street. Very speedy elevator. Terrace is wonderful. Nice washroom. Newer clothes washer.

Basic but good location

If all you’re looking for is a bed for the night in a good location, this is fine. Cheap and basic - a bed, a shower, a very basic kitchen (hob and microwave but no oven), a sofa and that’s about it. The ‘roof terrace,’ is a sectioned off part of a communal terrace, with no view and, for most of the time I was there, was where the rest of the occupants hang out their washing - you won’t be spending your evenings eating and drinking here. But it’s in the middle of the Triana district, and you’re only a 15 minute walk from the cathedral, Real Alkazar, etc. So if you’re going to spend all your time going out, it’s fine.
